As they all continued on their way they came across the helicopter ni'awtu had mentioned before both boys gasped in awe while lo'ak climbed up to look inside " is there any dead bodies up there" came Tuks voice which went unheard by the boys meanwhile kiri and ni'awtu had gone off near by to some large purple flowers growing on the forest floor " aw man I've been aching for a nap in the sun" ni'awtu exclaimed as she did a cartwheel and laid on the ground stretching her body and finally relaxing as she closed her eyes " I can agree it's so nice to be down here with the plants" chimed kiri. Ni'awtu was indeed best friends with the older sully's and even a sister figure to took but all in different ways with neteyam they were both good warriors and very smart and patient at their age where as for lo'ak they get along because they tend to go off and well make trouble as Jake would say but they just saw it as adventures or with kiri ni'awtu saw the connection kiri had with the forest and the animals she had even asked about it which was why she knew about kiri's deep connection to eywa and how she could feel her which is why they would often times go out to meditate or talk about what kiri felt and any questions she had since the dracarys clan had always had a deep connection with eywa and well tuk was basically like the little sister ni'awtu never had so she would often times play with her but in this way ni'awtu was like the missing sibling they never had the one that understood them as themselves and not toruk moktos or the olo'eyktans children
As kiri and ni'awtu laid there as the grass pulsed and seedlings began to gently float onto them ni'awtu heard rustling from the bushes so she opened one eye all thought they were technically alone there was still predators here and though they would leave them alone if they didn't bother them she would still rather be safe than sorry as the rustling grew louder she heard spider call out for kiri well jeez what am I rotten meat " kiri, ni'awtu there you guys are" spider said further walking to them but all he received was a shh as ni'awtu sat up the seedlings on her floating away " look spider she is doing it again is it not a beautiful thing to see" ni'awtu said peacefully looking upon her sister and best friend whe was peaceful meditating in eywas embrace " yes it is but we have to wake her up it's almost eclipse" spider told her as he repeatedly called said girl's name and shook her awake in turn successfully waking her " are you okay" spider asked kiri though it was a normal thing to happen to her no one knew exactly what was happening to her in this state ni'awtu had an inkling she thought she was communicating with the forest " I was doing that thing again, wasn't I?" Kiri asked them even though she knew answer already both gave her a yeah though kiri didn't seem to pleased with the answer ni'awtu wanted to help her friend she could've offered to take her to the elders of her clan but obviously eywa had a different much more difficult path set for her dearest friend behind the three came tuk and lo'ak each taking turns calling out for the two girls " kiri, nini we have to get back" tuk said as she saw the others in front of her " ok ok tuk come guy's I know a short cut" ni'awtu said as she started walking to the right of the area they were in as all five began jogging on a elevated tree root climbing down nini, lo'ak, and spider saw what looked to be a boot print in the woods " what is it" kiri asked impatient and worried that they could be in trouble if they don't get back in time or worse in danger " huh hey does anyone know if there's supposed to be a recon team out today" ni'awtu asked the boot print was to small for a human and there's no way any na'vi no matter what the situation was  would wear boots so it would've had to be a avatar but that was just it nobody and she meant nobody From the village ever came down from the hallelujah mountains unless it's to hunt and gather food but even still this place was considered a very big no-no zone " no but your right nini their way to big far a human" Lo'ak said just as intrigued in why it was there " Avatar maybe" spider suggested hopping it was just a search party since they were out for a while " yeah well let's hope for now I'm gonna need both of you to be on guard I only have my daggers on me got it" ni'awtu said she had a feeling that they had made a mistake by coming here at first it was a small snow ball she didn't much pay attention to since they had seen some cool things and the little relaxing moment with kiri was just putting her at ease but this print in the mud made the hairs on her neck stand on edge and her body became tense as they all looked to said girl taking in how tense her body was and how her ears stilled only moving at times to catch little sounds of the forest and how her tail curled in on itself in an attempt to make it smaller they knew to take what she said seriously if nini didn't like it then something was going to happen " look there's more going this way" Lo'ak said crouched lower to the ground as he began stalking the boot prints ni'awtu held kiri and tuks hands as all three girls followed the two boys in front of them the way the tracks led she could feel the squeeze kiri gave her and she could feel how tuk basically stuck to her leg like glue she knew she needed to be strong no be ready for what ever could come out of these prints they found she wanted to keep them all safe especially tuk who wasn't supposed to be here in the first place " what are you doing" kiri asked if anyone were to ask her it would be best if they just left home and didn't follow some random foot prints they found but no one did and she doubted they would listen to her either and she was proven right as lo'ak shushed her and said they were tracking them of in the distance ni'awtu could hear the sound of metal jiggling " um guys I don't think we're alone out here I'm hearing metal in the distance" she whispered to them she didn't know what it was from or who was out there but she didn't like what she was hearing not one bit " wait seriously shit alright let's just go to make sure everything's okay then we can leave ok" lo'ak said he didn't like it just as much as nini but if this was something his father should know then they would have to check it out to make sure so they kept walking following the tracks up ahead they could see a shack through the leaves as a few avatar wearing what looked to be military gear walked around " we are never supposed to come here, dad is going to ground you" kiri said giving her brother an upset face that held an I told you so aura nini also didn't like what she saw ask her tail unraveled to create a defensive circle around her " yeah bro we are so dead" she looked to lo'ak who shushed both girls as kiri continued teasing him saying it would be for the rest of his life this time as tuk who was next to ni'awtu moved behind her brother for a better look " bro we have got to Check this out let's go" lo'ak said to spider intrigued and excited about what they just discovered oh brother here we go again ever the troublemaker he is nini thought although she was just the same at least she knew what situations were worth causing trouble over but still they all crept closer hoping to get a better look at what was going on " bro, that's where your dad and my dad fought" spider whispered to lo'ak both equally as excited about what they were witnessing right now " that's your dad's actual suit" lo'ak said looking over at his best friend totally amazed at what they were seeing "yeah yeah wow that's all cool and what ever but we don't know those avatar and they have guns plus it's almost eclipse or did you two numbskulls forget" ni'awtu whisper yelled at the boys what she was seeing oozed trouble and she didn't mean the kind where three young adults and one child were just out playing around no this was the kind where someone could get hurt or worse dead which started to bring back the feeling she had on that day and she really did no like it not one bit " alright I'll call it in then we can get out of here ok" lo'ak said rolling his eyes he knew she was just being cautious but they weren't even that close spider protested saying they would get in trouble but Lo'ak just brushed him off and lead them back to where kiri and tuk were standing as Jake, neytiri and neteyam were out on patrol on their ikran jack herd his second son call him over the radio piece on his neck " eagle eye send your traffic" he replied back ni'awtu pressed on her pressure point listening in on what was going on and if needed giving her own input on the situation " I got eyes on some guys they look like avatars but their in full camo and carrying AR's there's six of them,over" lo'ak explained to his dad he didn't really want to say where they were just yet especially since he was definitely getting grounded for the rest of his life  Jake replied back asking for their position but lo'ak hesitated nini looked at him and put a hand on his shoulder " we're at the old shack me, lo'ak, kiri, spider and...tuk" nini told them she knew they were going to be in trouble but right now the most important thing was for them to all get back safely tuk scotched closer to kiri understanding that this situation had grown even more serious than before especially if their father was involved " listen you two I want you to pull back right now do not make a sound and get the hell out of there move copy" Jake's voice said over the ear piece quickly she ushered took in front of her in a attempt to get her away the fastest then she pushed kiri behind tuk " go I'll stay back here to make sure no one sees us" nini said pulling out her dagger strapped to her right thigh it was a gift from naymir she still remembers the day he gave it to her she has treasured it ever since kiri reprimanded her brother say she was right as all five began walking in the opposite direction as they quickly walked away from the shack and in the direction to where the hideout was nini and tuk in the front while spider trailed behind them and the two older sully siblings bickering behind " come on guys nows not exactly the time to be arguing especially with these random avatars around"  ni'awtu said turning around to look at the two bickering siblings while tuk continued to walk ahead she regretted doing so if she hadn't tuk wouldn't have gotten snatched up by the avatars that hid behind a tree as nini saw them squeezing tuk harder than she liked she charged at her but as she heard another rustling she quickly pushed her self out of the way when another five came from out of the bushes aiming their guns right at them getting into a defensive position she unraveled her tail curled it around them as best she could and flared out her quills daring any of them to get closer she could understand what they were yelling Jake having taught her English to the best of his ability but she never needed to use it until now that is " Put it down, move your tail" lo'ak said to spider and nini understanding they were out numbered and out powered plus he'd be dames if anything happened to his siblings and best friend on his watch after a few seconds spider lowered his bow and nini retracted her quils recoiled her tail and placed her dagger back where it was quickly four avatars went and grabbed the young adults grabbing the three Navi by their que at the  base of their skulls and forced them down to the ground " get off of them you asswipe you're hurting them". Ni'awtu yelled out in Navi not liking how they were treating them she could slowly see a bruise form on tuks wrist the poor girl must've been in pain right now as she called out for nini who in turn pleaded that she be calm for now but she knew that this was not a situation where tuk could have that pleasure next to her kiri began talking to her sister in Navi to help calm her as two more avatars walked up to the group from the shed she hissed at them and glared eyes burning with hatred already " what have we here" said the leader ni'awtu assumed as he looked them all up and down but as he got to her he stopped " well I'll be you ain't no omaticaya looks like you caught yourself a good one soldier" he said getting closer and crouching down the soldiers all laughed and the one holding her hollered holding her que even tighter underneath he long braids that had been tied up for their little outing but boy did she have a surprise for them just like that she spiked her tail up hit the soldiers leg causing him to let go as he gripped in pain she detracted her claws and swiped them up the leaders face before the other avatar who came with him hit her with the butt of his gun basically yanked her que and stomped on her tail to secure it the ground she gave a loud grunt of pain causing tuk to wiggle out of control and everyone to call out her name repeatedly as blood trickled from a open gash on her temple " my your a fighter aren't ya might want to be extra careful with her" the leader said as he spit out some blood in his mouth right near her with that said the person holding her tightened his grip and put even more pressure on her tail to which she glared harder it was all she could do at the moment but as soon as she got the chance she  would ripe that smug smile off his face " hey colonel check it out four fingers we got a half breed" said one of the avatars as they held up kiri's hand to which spider whispered a curse under his breath " show me your fingers" this colonel said as he walked up to lo'ak who in turn just raised his middle fingers pointing them at him pfft nice nini wanted to laugh but she knew now wasn't exactly the time for games " heh you're his aren't you" he said staring down at lo'ak who hissed as soon as he finished the colonel only reconfirming himself nini let out a loud snake like hiss exposing her sharp canines as this colonel pulled lo'ak up by his Que this made her captor nervous as he stepped back a little more like he was scared she would get loose yea you better be afraid when if free I'm coming for you first she thought " where is he" the colonel demanded as he looked upon lo'ak yanking his Que every so often to elicit a answer from him " sorry,I don't speak English...to assholes" lo'ak said mocking him he was as stubborn as he was strong nini could give him that but he could also be very very stupid " where is your father" he replied now that took nini by surprise she didn't expect them to understand and speak Navi albeit a rougher less natural language but still roughly understandable he then pulled on lo'ak's Que again eliciting a shout from him as kiri and tuk both yelled for him to stop but Lo'ak just hissed at him again " really you wanna play this way" the colonel said as he unsheathed his knife let go of lo'ak while another avatar held him down and began walking towards kiri which caused lo'ak to yell at him in English, tuk started to cry and kiri was pleading in Navi as ni'awtu began to struggle to move out of the hold she was in while spider also tried to talk with him yelling at him to leave her alone the colonel turned to spider and stared at him " what's your name,kid" the colonel asked as he walked towards spider what why would he ask that I swear if spider has something to do with this I'll tear him to shreds thought ni'awtu she didn't like this one bit the fact that the were caught was bad enough but if something worse were to happen then they were screwed " spider ... Socorro" spider replied obviously nervous about what was happening the colonel made a hand wave signaling the avatar to let spider go "miles" he asked slowly the pieces formed together and finally ni'awtu understood who this colonel is this was the colonel miles quaritch the very same quaritch that tried to burn down the spirit tree aka the enemy of Jake and neytiri aka the one who burned down the omaticaya home tree aka spiders dad woah awkward but damn are we in real bad trouble " nobody calls me that" spider said looking at what in a sense was his father in disgust and anger " well I'll be damned I figured they sent you back to earth" said quaritch looking upon his son in astonishment " they can't put babies in crying,dipshit" was spiders reply already expressing his hatred and displeasure over this new found reincarnation of his father with that his father finally understood that even to his own son he was the enemy and bad guy so he waved the avatar back over to hold spider down again and he stood back to full height one of the avatars asked quaritch on what they were doing then he took his radio and started talking to whoever was on the other side
