In a cozy home, where toys are plenty,
lives a playful calico cat, all shiny and dainty,
with fur of orange, black, and white,
and a round black dot on her nose so bright.

She loves to purr and meow all day,
and in her indoor world, she loves to play,
with balls of yarn and toy mice galore,
she zooms around, leaving paws on the floor.

Her owner adores her every move,
the way she cuddles and loves to groove,
her energetic spirit is oh so sweet,
as she watches birds outside without a feat.

She sits so calmly and with such grace,
her curious nature is etched on her face,
she watches every little thing with care,
and pounces with excitement, giving us a scare.

When it's time for bed, she's quick to crawl,
into her cozy spot, curled up in a ball,
tucked in with blankets and a cozy toy,
she dreams of chasing birds and playing with joy.

The playful calico cat, oh what a delight,
with her black dot on her nose, shining so bright,
she fills our home with laughter and fun,
and all our hearts with love that cannot be undone.

I started this poem and I couldn't finish it, I didn't know how to give this poem the 'personality' I wanted, I wanted this poem to feel warm, to feel like you're recalling a good memory, but I just couldn't get it right, so after trying to get it to work, I decided to delete and rewrite it and I'm finally satisfied with how it turned out.
