She left the note on the counter before she exited her house and made her way towards her car and started her journey to her soon future mother in law's house.

3rd person

Hailee eventually got to Yn's mother's house and was now parked outside, Yn had a good childhood and wealthy parents but, their house wasn't overly big, just enough for an older generation married couple.

She then got out of the car after turning it off, making her way up the stairs and lightly knocking on the door.

A few seconds later Yn's mom light footsteps eventually could be heard, which was followed up by the door opening "Hailee baby, hey" Yn's mom greeted, before engulfing her future daughter-in-law in a tight hug

"Hi ymn it's nice to see you again" Hailee welcomed, before entering the house and taking off her shoes

Even though Yn's mom insisted that she could keep them on, Hailee still took them off in a way of being polite.

Ymn told Hailee to follow her to the living room so they could talk about Yn.

"So.. what happened to Yn.. I don't think she ever told me?" Hailee questioned

"I wouldn't be surprised, it's not something that she likes bringing up and she only ever told me and her father.. but we promised her to let her tell you in time and.. I guess she couldn't so I have to" Yn's mom said

Hailee just nodded to which Yn's mom continued.

She took a deep breath before speaking "when Yn was around her early adulthood she had a girlfriend.. her name was Isabelle they were together since they were 17 but bestfriends since their childhood, and just by how Yn looks at you now and she looked at her.. she was in love.." Hailee's heart warmed at this

She continued "Yn and Isabelle were inseparable, anywhere Yn went Isabelle would follow and anywhere Isabelle went Yn would follow, they acted more like friends than a couple.. but then everything changed and now.. Yn's once biggest dream became her worst nightmare..

Isabelle eventually fell pregnant when she was 21 and just about to turn 22, she told Yn and she was over the moon I mean all throughout the nine months they both planned everything out perfectly.. and then it came to birth" Yn's mom took a deep breath before continuing

"What the doctors didn't tell Yn and Isabelle when they were at check-ups, was that the baby wasn't breathing properly and so when it came to Isabelle giving birth.. she also died along with the baby, because of troubled breathing for the both of them and it put pressure on Isabelle's lungs" Hailee's heart broke, Yn is scared because she doesn't want to lose Hailee and her baby.. again

"Oh my God.." was all Hailee managed to get out

Yn's mother continued "I don't think Yn ever healed or even grieved from Isabelle.. that was her first girlfriend who accepted her and then she just.. lost her"

Hailee couldn't imagine having to go through that, let alone not actually breaking up with them, but just being forced to let them go.

"I'm so.. sorry.. I- I-uh" Hailee had been lost for words, trying to process everything she had just been told was making her feel mixed emotions

"It's okay Hailee.. trust me.. it's not your fault, but right now, you just need to get back in your car and drive back to Yn and talk to her, even if she doesn't want to, Yn tends to block everything and everyone out when she gets emotional like this.. teach her how to grieve" Yn's mom begged Hailee

"Yn has been holding onto Isabelle for a long time now and doesn't want to let her go, which is why she suppressed the memories but deep down she knows that she will have to face her fear sooner than later" Yn's mom said with a sad smile

Hailee nodded and they bid their goodbyes, then soon after, she left.

First, Hailee was going to get Yn her favourite food and for herself aswell, they both had a lazy day today so it was easier to have take out.

Time Skip: Arriving Home

Hailee opened the house door with one hand and closed it with her right foot, since her right hand, had her food in it and her left was Yn's food.

"Baby? I'm home" Hailee called out as she made her way to the kitchen to set the bags down

She didn't get a response, but soon after she heard the trailing of footsteps coming down the stairs.

Hailee turned around from taking two plates out and her heart shattered even more, there stood her girlfriend in one of Hailee's hoodies, very red and puffy eyes, stuffy nose from crying and tear streaks down her face.

Hailee set the plates down before turning her full attention to Yn "baby.. come here" she said

Yn made her way over to Hailee and immediately clung onto her like she was gonna lose her, her arms around Hailee's waist and Hailee's around her neck, softly stroking the exposed skin on the back of Yn's neck.

Small sniffles were now being heard from Yn "it's okay baby.. you can let it out, your safe, I'm here okay" she cooed her girlfriend

Soon after Yn broke down in Hailee's arms once again, since she bottled everything up, being able to let it all out was a relief because it was all becoming too much for her.

"I know baby, I know.. you're okay just let it all out.. I'm right here my love" Hailee cooed her girlfriend

Yn's muffled loud cries, now turned into quiet sobs and sniffles she pulled her head away from Hailee's shoulder, Hailee then brought her hand up to wipe Yn's free falling tears.

"How about we eat, then talk.. is that okay?" Hailee questioned, Yn just nodded

Time Skip: After Eating

Hailee and Yn then made their way up the stairs to their shared bedroom, Hailee knew that she had to get Yn to open up and she was going to do just that, even if it meant forcing her like Yn's mom said.

"Do you want to shower first?" Hailee questioned her girlfriend

She nodded and made her way to the bathroom, before turning back around to face Hailee "Join me?" Yn questioned in a shy tone

Hailee just smiled and followed her to the bathroom after picking out some clothes for both of them, leaving them on the bed for when they're finished.

They stripped and Hailee opened the glass door to their walk-in shower, Yn walked in first and Hailee followed.

Yn turned on the water and let it run down her body, it calmed her nerves as she knew that her and Hailee had to talk later.

Hailee wrapped her arms around Yn's waist from behind "is this better?" She asked as she caressed Yn's stomach, Yn just hummed at this and began to wash her body with a flannel.

But Hailee had other thoughts and gently took the flannel out of Yn's hand and began washing her body for her "let me do it baby" Hailee said in a soft tone and Yn nodded

She turned Yn and around, so she was facing her, Hailee ran the soapy piece of cloth over her fiancèes body.

Time Skip: After Shower

Hailee was now sitting at the edge of the bed waiting for her fiancée to finish getting dressed, she knew it was going to be a hard talk but, it was the only way to get Yn to open up.

Once Yn finished putting on her clothes she sat next to Hailee, but she never once looked up at her, only staring at the ground.

It was now that they had to talk about everything...
