Mostly because there are also other vampires in this town who want to hurt Yn and if they find out Hailee is involved in Yn's life they'll kill her without mercy.
3rd person
Hailee got her shoes and jacket on, picking her car keys and house keys up before leaving, she was trying to process what she had seen.
She made it to her car and started it, thinking of places Yn could be.
Although Yn always went to this park about 10minutes away from Hailee's house, so Hailee figured she would go there first.
Meanwhile Yn was walking to the same park there was a gate, she opened it and walked in sitting on one of the benches, Hailee reached and was getting out of her car.
Yn was too involved in her thoughts to realise that Hailee was now in the park aswell, that was until she heard a scream, not just any.. Hailee's.
She vamp sped to where the sound echoed from and stood shocked at what saw.
"Mama.." Yn whispered, but more to herself
Yn felt something was off, when she didn't reply.
Her long, dark brown wavy hair flowing over her shoulders, her dark brown eyes piercing Yn's soul.
"..Yn wh-what's going o-on" Hailee stuttered out, Yn then realised what was happening
Her mom hand Hailee in her grasp, one arm around her waist and one on her neck.
Yn knew this very well an emotionless face, no glint of happiness or sadness just.. nothing, that's when it hit Yn.
She turned her humanity off.
"Hailee it's gonna be okay, I promise" Yn said looking Hailee in the eye before slowly taking a step
But as she did Yn's mom opened her mouth and fangs emerged, quickly Yn stepped back and Yn's mom stopped.
"Mama?" Yn said again
"Yes, my dear" This is the first time Yn heard her mothers voice, ever since she thought she was dead
"How- you were dead.." Yn said, fighting back tears, over the years she told herself she would always hide her emotions
"Yes I was, and then I came back to life" Katerina said like it was normal (yes I'm doing people from vampire diaries cause why not)
"Yn help me-"
"If you don't stop complaining, I will make you my dessert for the night.. and you look so.. tasty" Katerina said as she gripped Hailee's throat tighter and sniffed her brunette hair
Hailee looked at Yn with pleading eyes, Yn just nodded, even though deep down she knew she couldn't fight her own mother
"Katerina.. let her go" Yn said, finally finding the words to be confident
"But I'm hungry.. and by the look on your face, the way your heart is beating.. I'm pretty sure you are too" Katerina said
"Oh and it's Katherine baby, Katerina died on a noose in a little cottage back on.. April 6th 1492.. I think.. I'm terribly bad with dates.. sorry" Katherine chuckled out
"Let my girlfriend go Katherine" Yn said, sternly which only made her chuckle
"Oh boy.. you definitely are my daughter" She laughed and vamp sped over, right infront of Yn with Hailee
Katherine took Hailee's hair and brought it to one side of her neck, Yn could see her pulse and doing everything in to try and fight killing her girlfriend.
"Don't you just.. want.. one taste, I would love.. to give a demonstration.. unless.. you know how to" Katherine said looking deeply in her daughters eyes
Yn didn't move a muscle, she stood still keeping everything down, Hailee was confused, scared, and lost, her heartbeat could be heard from a mile away.
"Katherine, your humanity is off" Yn said, every vampire she ever met always looked expressionless
"Oh baby.. it's not, I'm Katherine Pierce and I'm a survivor" She chuckled out
"Wait- what?" Yn was lost, if her humanity isn't off then why is she doing this
"Why are you doing this then?" Yn asked, they haven't seen each other in years, and this is the first thing that happens when they see each other
"Well I wanted to see my future daughter-in-law, she really has you wrapped around her finger doesn't she Yn?" Yn stayed quiet knowing it's true
She looked at Hailee and her gaze softened, she didn't want Hailee to see, or even know of the monster buried inside of her but she was hungry.
Everything started to surface, her veiny face, red eyes and fangs, she turned around trying to fight it.
"You know you could have a snack.. she's right here" Katherine said, she pointed at Hailee
Yn turned back around, to face both of women.
"I will never l-lay a hand on Ha-Hailee, I-I will never hurt her" Yn stuttered out as her vampire featuring kept coming and going
Hailee's eyes widen as she watched Yn's face closely, Katherine was amused by this.
"Well since you're not going to I will.." Katherine turned Hailee around to face her instead of Yn
Hailee's face filled with terror, she didn't know what she was up against, but what she did know was that she definitely can't fight them.
"This is gonna hurt like hell.. but I'm starving.. you would've been one hell of a daughter-in-law though.. too bad" Katherine then let everything surface, and dug her fangs into Hailee's neck
"YNNNNNNN" Hailee screamed
Yn vamp sped and pushed Katherine off of Hailee, Hailee fell to the ground, Yn knelt down and bit into her wrist and put it at Hailee's mouth
"Come onnnn.. don't die on me baby" Yn said as tears began to well up, although she promised to never show emotions, she couldn't stop herself with Hailee
Hailee was still not waking up but her heart was faintly beating, she looked up at her mother with teary eyes.
"Awhh baby, she'll be fine I didn't drain her" Katherine smirked out and walked closer to Yn
"Don't you ha-have a boyfriend to got to o-or anything" Yn said as she fought back tears
Once she was close enough, she knelt down infront of Yn and Hailee looking her in the eyes.
"I have two.. Stefan and Damon but.. things are.. complicated, SO why not.. have a little fun with.. you" Katherine smiled sadistically at her daughter
Yn looked down back at Hailee and back up at Katherine, she stood up with Hailee in her arms bridal style and one tear rolling down her cheek.
"Stay out of my life, you should have never been a mother" Yn gritted before vamp speeding back to her house
Katherine was left speechless, she knew what she did was wrong but it was always down to being soft or putting on a mask and fighting her battles.
She obviously chose to fight her battles and not run away, the only one she will run from is Klaus and that will never change.
This was rushed.. I'm going bed goodnight humans
