Beth laid in her bed, a plain pink comforter over her and a pillow under her elbows to keep them comfortable so she wasn't sticking them into the springy bed. She kicked her feet up in the air as she played Wii Sports on the Wii. Her eyes are completely focused on the screen, purposefully ignoring the loud arguing of her older brother, father and mother.

It wasn't an unusual occurrence for this to happen, quite often to be honest. Basically every night. Her brother, Caleb, promised that he was going to play with her but by the sound of it, it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

The topic of their fights were usually about Beth. Caleb always fought for better treatment for his sister. He never got it of course, but he never stopped trying. Although, despite the constant fighting, the parents treated him like was a king. Getting anything he wanted, whenever he wanted, doting on him.

She winced in pain and rubbed her stomach, taking deep breaths. Yesterday, her mother used Beth as a punching bag, again, nothing unusual. Her last day of school was yesterday, and as it would, her report card came back. Her mother saw that she had B's in all her subjects. She was expecting A's, so Beth got a beating for it, with the father watching with a smile on his face.

"Get the fuck off that game!"., her father bursted into the room, fuming.

She was so lost in the game that she didn't hear him storming up the hallway. She jumped in fright, falling off her bed—her blanket going with her. She quickly got ubo in a matter of seconds and scrambled over to the TV and Wii, turning them off.

"Ok, ok! I'm sorry!"., she cowered, tears streaming down her cheeks.

She quickly covered herself up with the blanket, her lips quivering as she tried to quiet herself.

"Look at you crying..."., he scoffed., "...You're absolutely pathetic, fatty. Stop crying, you look like a weak fool".

She quickly wiped her tears away and nodded, taking the blanket off of her.

"Stop playing that stupid game and go for a run or something, you need to loose that weight on your stomach".

"Ok"., she spoke quietly.

Chris laid on his bed, throwing a ball up in the air, loud rock music blaring through the radio in the bedside table. He started to sing along to it, doing a drum solo with his feet, not knowing that his father was standing there, tapping his fingers on his elbow.

His father absolutely despises him. To him, he was the reason his mother killed herself and his unborn baby sister. To him, his mother was sick of seeing his face everyday. Chris's father drummed it into his head so much that he even believes it. He punishes himself everyday for it.

"Why do you insist on having your music so loud the whole of Australia can hear it!"., his father yelled over the music.

It wasn't loud enough though. Chris still didn't hear him, he was still jamming out to it, completely unaware of the horrible man behind him. So in effort to make him hear him or at least notice his presence, he swiftly brought his down, hitting him in the forehead with a harsh slap.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!"., Chris screamed at his father.

"I TOLD YOU TO TURN DOWN YOUR MUSIC!"., his father matched his tone.

"WELL FIND SOME OTHER WAY OF TELLING ME INSTEAD OF HITTING ME!".

"THEN YOU WOULDN'T LISTEN TO ME!".

"I HATE YOU!"., tears started to stream down Chris's face.

"OH, TRUST ME, THE FEELING IS COMPLETELY MUTAL! YOU KNOW WHAT? THE DAY YOU DIE WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!".

Beth laid on a desk in the science classroom trying to steady her breathing, while Chris stood in front of her, pulling his trousers up. He too is also out of breath. He put his graduation gown and cap back on, looking at Beth with sadness etched into his face.

They are going they're separate ways and they know that this is the last time they're going to see each other. The love they have for each other has not gone away, it's still very noticeable to themselves and everyone around them.

"Do you really have to go to Virginia?..."., he spoke quietly, settling himself in between her legs as she sat up., "...You're the first person who feels right. I...I don't want you to leave".

Tears brimmed his eyes and she put her hands on his chest, a sad smile etching into her face. She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and he put his hands under her thighs, picking her up.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and the two shared a passionate, love filled kiss. After a few seconds, she reluctantly pulled away from the kiss and rested her forehead against his, sniffling.

"I love you".

Will put her down and she grabbed her cap and gown from beside her, looking at him once more before walking out of the classroom. She knows that if she stayed any longer or looked at him once more, she would give up everything just to be with him. And she knows she cannot do that.

"I love you"., he spoke quietly.
