"HEY! ANYONE UP THERE?!"

"I SEE YOUR SHADOW!"

I looked down from the edge of the cliff.

"HEY! IS THAT PERCY?"

"YES IT'S PERCY!" I said, looking down at the two people down. The girl's hair was so shiny that it gave my eyes a glare. The brunette next to the girl, however, looked too impossible to be there.

"ATHENA?" I asked. "AND- ARIANA?"

"Yeah!" Ariana exclaimed. "Let us up!"

"Whatever are you doing up there, Perseus?" Athena asked me as I lowered down the climbing rope.

"Dunno, I was asked to wait for everyone," I said, pulling them up.

"Percy?" Piper's voice sounded. "What are you doing?"

"Welcome back. We've new recruits," I smiled at Piper. "Lend a hand here?"

"Of course," Piper grinned. "There are two?" She looked down and gasped. "Athena?!"

"Yes, Athena!" Athena scowled. "Now help me up."

Piper laughed and pulled the ropes along with me. "Lovely to see you here," she said as we helped the two women up.

"Hey," I mused, "why is this team of leaders becoming a girl group? Literally, it's only Apollo and I on this team? "

"Once for a change, that's actually good," Piper said.

"What is this place?" Ariana asked.

"Oh," Piper said as a matter-of-factly, "this is the place where the seven leaders of the prophecy meet up, apparently."

"The seven leaders?" Athena asked, looking pointedly at me, "And you're one of them?!"

"Hey!" I frowned. "I've led a good many people, just so you're aware. I'm just shocked you're one of them."

Ariana laughed. "Mom, let the poor boy go!" Athena's eyes showed a flicker of a smile. "But who are the leaders?"

"Well, there's Piper," I said, "and me, and Apollo. And now you guys."

"Well, who is Apollo leading?" Ariana asked. "I can understand Piper- she's leading the Romans now... Percy's working with the other pantheons... Mom, you lead every god out there...."

"And you're leading the camp," I nodded. "But somehow, Apollo was here first."

"On what basis were we even chosen?" Athena asked.

"If I knew, I'd tell you," I said. "But all I know is that there are only two more leaders left. I'm excited."

"I don't know what to do," Piper sighed. "I mean, I will go to Tartarus with the camp, but how am I going to navigate through all that...?"

My mind clicked at once. "I have a plan," I said.

"I don't see why you should take the whole camp with you into Tartarus," Athena said, "it's so dangerous-"

"Yeah, but she can't go in there alone either. The environment was designed to survive unwillingly," I nodded. "She's going to need an army to keep everyone alive... if Hazel and Frank are there-" my voice cracked. I remembered the old days with the couple. The boats, fighting karpoi, Frank turning into a huge dragon- I smiled at the memory. "They should be there. Otherwise-" I took a deep breath. "Anyway, here's what I'd suggest. Hagrid is on the run anyway--"

"Percy!" Ariana exclaimed, her eyes widening, "Percy, oh my lords, that's a brilliant idea!"

"I know," I grinned.
