The actual meaning behind the term 'Fangirling' is being obsessed or overexcited for something or over someone. It can be many things like fangirling over an idol or an actor, over anyone... like that one kid in your school who's famous for his athletic abilities. It can be over someone who has a good personality, does good deeds, and helps others. Simply put... it can be anyone or everyone, it can be things too... movies, characters from novels, comics, games, etc. You can be a fanboy or a fangirl for someone or something and that particular thing/person you fantasize about has the ability to give you lots of happiness. You would just be smiling like a fool if you get something in return that cherishes your love for that thing/person.

Just like our main lead... Aarav... I mean he isn't a fanboy for Ankita to be precise but it's similar. But... I wonder what she thinks about him?

11th August 2015

It's drizzling a bit near the school area, some students are wearing raincoats while some are carrying their umbrellas... of course, we have those students as well who are just enjoying being in the rain... feeling the droplets falling from the sky straight to your face... getting a feeling that you're standing below a huge shower and the water is hitting you like heaven.

Well, our main leads – Ankita and Aarav have decided to wait for the rain to stop as they both don't seem to have a raincoat or an umbrella.

"How could you forget to bring an umbrella?" says Ankita.

"Like I knew it was going to rain... right?" he replies.

"You're the one who checks for a weather report in the morning and yet you are saying this?"

"Sometimes they tell you it would be a sunny day, only to rain like hell yaar."

"... (sighs) So what are we going to do till the rain stops."

"Well... I have got something to tell you." Aarav says in a curious way.

"What... Is... It?"

"Uhm... I---"

"Aarav... I guess it isn't the right time to tell me this, we are outdoors and I will feel a bit shy if you do this now---" Ankita says while acting a bit coy.

"What are you talking about?"

"What do you mean?" she replies with a confused smile on her face.

"I wanted to tell you that I have started writing a web novel."

"What... that's what I was thinking... woah... you surprised me man!" she tries to cover up her blunder.

"Ah... okay... so do you wanna know about it?"

"I would love to; you know how much I love these web novels... what is the genre."

"It's your favorite genre..."

"What, you have published a romance novel."

"Ah... nope... it's actually a Spice of Life novel."

"Does it have any kind of romance in it?" she replies while being all excited.

"Yes! It is based on a school student's life like us who's dealing with some problems in his life... he has bad parents, no friends and he stays alone every day."

"Seems like I have heard this story somewhere... I don't remember where—"

"Aree... you have read so many books and novels... that's the reason you think it sounds too familiar.

"That could be the case... I guess."

"Yeah... so do you know what happens next?"

"Tell me already, I can't wait to know."

"So... he meets a girl in his school like they both are in the same standard but different division classes."

"Oh...kay."

"Yeah... and they both meet each other when the female lead is in need of help and no one helps her, until our main lead steps in to save his future love interest."

"And... what happens next?"

"I'm still writing that part... I have reached the point where they both have become best friends and the female lead has started to fall for him."

"How Original! Aarav," she replies in a sarcastic way.

"Why... you think someone has already written a story over this?"

"I mean there are lots of stories but this one is a bit different."

"What's the problem then?"

"The thing is... it's not original because... it's our story. This is completely true... your life is like that and we meet each other the same way."

"So, you agree the part where I said that the female lead has started to like him is the same as our situation."

"Ah... what?"

"Yeah, you said both the stories are just the same... so it implies that just like the female lead in my story has started to fall for the male lead... you have started to fall for me."

"Ptf... what... it's crap... I mean... who would believe that... I should totally tell this to Shreya... she would laugh like crazy... good joke Aarav." she struggles to be confident while saying those words.

"So---"

"The rain has stopped now, let's do a race till the road end and whoever comes last will pay for the ice cream tomorrow. Call?"

"What... wait---"

"Okay, Call. Let's start running... see you there." she starts sprinting after saying this.

"Aree...wait for me naa" Aarav replies as he tries to catch up with Ankita.
