Have you ever felt betrayed? It's common to feel that way as life is full of betrayals. I'm not trying to sound pessimist here but as everyone's life has its ups... it certainly has its downs as well. We don't have to argue on the good and evil as today we are just focusing on the bad... well not fully... there lots of factors that can be counted in the bad section. We get angry, depressed, cheated on, beaten, abused and so much... and betrayal is one of them. It's not easy to gain someone's trust... but it's easy to betray someone after earning their trust.
Now you must be wondering why am I making a big issue out of this topic... well, I'm just trying to portray what Aarav must have felt when he had a misunderstanding that Ankita is the one who told his secrets to her best friend Shreya. I know the truth is different from what he perceives it to be... but I feel that Ankita will eventually earn his trust back and clear her name out of this mess.
26th August 2015
It's recess time and everyone is busy eating their lunch boxes in the school premises. Some students are eating their lunch in the classroom while others are munching in the canteen. Away from all the other students, we see our main lead Aarav eating his lunch box on the staircase near the school library. He chooses this place as no one seems to visit the library during lunch hours.
As he's about to finish his lunch box... Shreya comes up to him and tells him that her friend would be waiting in the library to have a talk about what exactly happened yesterday.
"What's left there to talk about yesterday?" he says in a disinterested voice.
"Well, why don't you go and ask her this question... I'm sure you will get a satisfactory answer."
"The recess is about to be over now... we don't have time."
"It's your decision... she will be waiting alone in the library. I got the librarian's permission to oversee the library for the day. So, no one will disturb you both... bunking the lecture or not... your call bro."
"Okay. I understand."
After a while we seeAarav entering the library room... he bumps into Shreya and she tells him to go to the left-end corner... Ankita will be waiting for him. He walks ahead and sees her reading a book standing by the bookshelf.
"You're here," she says in a low voice.
"Just say whatever you want to say—"
Ankita pulls Aarav towards her and hugs him tightly. As we witness this scene, it seems that he has frozen head to toe as he's surprised by this sweet gesture.
"Uhm... Ankita—" he says after he moves back two steps away from her.
"Shut up... let me talk first and then you may decide what you want to believe is the truth and what's not."
"...(sighs)... Ha."
"I don't know how should I prove to you that I have never ever told Shreya your life problems, our secrets... I accept that I told her about your novel, our jokes, and how I find you so cute and charming."
"Ah... you told her what?" he seems flustered.
"Yes... I told her that I find you cute and lovable... in fact, I told her clearly that I like you... I like you, Aarav."
"Ankita... I'm sorry... I misunderstood you... I know it's something that I should have trusted you with... I heard Shreya talk about some things and then I misjudged you... I'm sorry... and I... I like you too."
"I know."
"You knew? Oh yeah... she must have told you."
"I didn't need someone else to tell me that my bestie likes me."
"Ohh... (blushes)"
"Aww... my boyfriend seems to blush a lot today."
"Boyfriend.... Hmm... (blushes again)."
"Aree... chill... you're making me blush as well now," she replies as her face has become a red tomato.
"Who started it first?"
"Who started flirting with me first when we were friends?"
"Aacha baba... let's just leave this conversation for now... or else we will keep on talking. I will go and attend the remaining lectures now."
"What will you tell them... you were missing a whole lecture."
"I will just tell him that my stomach was feeling a bit weird and I was resting in the medical room."
"Aee... I was going to use that excuse."
"We both can use the same excuse yaar."
"True that."
"Uhm... Ankita?"
"Yes... Aarav."
"Let's Meet After School."
Ankita nods her head in acceptance and they both leave the library together.
After school, we see both our leads at the road intersection where they seem to bicker about something.
"You leave first," Aarav says.
"No baba... you leave first." Ankita replies.
"You leave first... I'm watching you leave."
"Aaravuuu... you leave naa... I will see you going home first." she says in a cute way.
"Umph... but I want to watch you leave first Ankuuuu," he replies with the same energy.
As these two love birds are bickering over this little issue. Shreya seems to feel a bit embarrassed in front of the people on the streets as she's with them... she says "Why do I have to witness something so cringe in front of other people... (sighs)."
