CHAPTER 17: YOU ARE MY HOME

'You Are My Home' the statement itself oozes so much love. I mean we just can't say this to anybody just like that... those words have a lot of weight-age and anyone who's worthy of deserving the title of being home to the other person is the most beautiful thing that I have seen yaar. Just imagine someone calling you his home... that sounds so peaceful, and loving... it is the best way to tell someone that they are their entire world.

Focusing on our current story between these two kids... do you think that this will be the statement they share with each other at the end of the episode?

1st November 2015

The school busses have arrived at the destination... the amusement park. We see everyone running everywhere... some are enjoying breakfast in the cafeteria; some are already enjoying themselves on the rides... and some are just busy... enjoying... each other's company... Ankita and Aarav have met each on their planned spot and it seems that there's no one else near them.

"So... we're all alone here naa... (nervous sighs) ... what should we do now?" she says.

"I had planned for this already... I know what you want to hear." He replies in a low voice.

"What is it?" she whispers.

"I... We... Hold my hand first."

"Uhm... okay." she says while giggling."

"Now... we should—" he says in a low voice.

"We should...?" she whispers.

"We should... have fun on the rides! I have already planned our playing timing on each ride so that we can enjoy each ride to the fullest. I saw the amusement park map online and there are so many rides... let me take you first to the Roller Coaster!"

"Ah... so I was expecting too much?" she says to herself.

"Did you say something?" he says

"Nope... you heard something?"

"I felt like... but never mind... off to the roller coaster." he sprints ahead.

We see our leads go from ride to ride enjoying themselves fully. Ankita seems a little upset because she expected a bit different side of him as they are here by themselves... but that doesn't hold her back. They both enjoyed all the rides and were smiling all day together.

They went on the roller coaster... then on the train ride that covered the whole amusement park. They both went to play dashing carts and were bumping their carts into each other constantly. It seemed like a friendly competition between these two love birds... it seems like today there were seen better as two best friends rather than being lovers. They had their fair share of time to enjoy the Horror House, Grass Maze, and other rides as well. Closing the whole day with the last ride on the Ferris Wheel they had a talk.

"Ankuu?"

"The scenery is so beautiful... we are here on the top... everyone is down there looking like ants from above."

"Ankuuuu... (holds her hand) Sorry for today."

"Why? What happened?"

"I know you were expecting something different from me... maybe a different side. We were busy playing on the rides just like other kids... but you wanted some alone time as well... I know you must have dreamed of this... thinking that we would get to be together without being afraid of others. You thought that we would stay away from the crowd and spend our time together while holding hands, me hugging you and maybe... maybe kiss—"

"Aarav... I was so happy today; in fact, I'm feeling so happy right now. Yeah... I know what happened in the morning got my mood a little off at the start but that never stopped me enjoying our time here."

"So... you happy with me?"

"Aarav... I enjoyed being with you today, I don't need to hold hands, hug you, or even like... we do something more than that. What I wanted is just spending time with you, I just want us to be comfortable around each other no matter the circumstances or situation."

"You sound so mature all of a sudden—"

"What do you mean by that yaar... I'm mature okay. I just act like a fool in front of you... because... I feel like being a fool in front of you... you bring out the comfortable side of me... you make me feel secure, you respect me, care for me... that is enough naa."

"... (sighs in a relaxed way) ... I feel better after listening to you... well, there's a surprise for you as well... all you have to do is wait for me."

"What kind of surprise is it? We don't have enough time now... we would be leaving for home naa."

"Just trust me and wait for me."

They both get off the ride and head toward their respective classroom groups. The roll call is announced and everyone gathers near the exit gate. The school busses have been aligned and everyone is getting into their allotted busses.

Ankita gets on the bus last and finds out that her friend Shreya who was sitting beside her is missing now. She goes to the teacher and tells her the situation... the teacher replies by saying "Shreya will be riding back home in a different bus as she wanted to clear her doubts with the maths teacher."

"She brought her homework here as well?" says Ankita

"Well, that sounds like your friend is just too much of a... book worm."

"I understand teacher... so will I be alone in my seat?"

"Ah... Someone agreed to switch his seats with Shreya on that other bus. So, he will be here soon and you must behave properly. I would have switched the seats with someone else as well but we're running out of the time... so we have to manage."

"Okay, teacher."

After a minute, a boy enters her bus and sits beside her. Ankita is busy looking outside the window and doesn't notice him. The boy taps on her shoulder to which she looks back and sees... Aarav sitting beside her.

"What? What are you doing here?" she says with a confused smile on her face.

"I told you to wait for me... surprise!"

"This is the best surprise you have ever given to me... and the first one as well... he Hehe."

"Well, I'm happy to see you again my love."

"Aww... by the way... how did you know about Shreya—"

"Shreya and I metnear the school in the morning before you arrived. She told me that she wouldlet me sit on her seat and I will be able to go home together with you. So,this was our plan... I thought about her words yesterday and then this was the plan that I had in my mind. I told her that she didn't need to follow us during our picnic, as I would be keeping my distance from you during the whole trip... except when we're alone together in the same bus..." he says as he proceeds to hold her hand secretly.

"So, this was a plan... just like me and she planned you last time... this time... it was you two!"

"... (laughs in a cocky way) ... you damn right!"

"I remember you being angry last time when this happened to you. but I won't be angry... I'm happy to have you here." she says with a cute smile on her face.

"I knew you would love this idea." he smiles back at her.

As the time passes, the sky appears to be dark. The lights inside the bus are turned off as everyone is tired and asleep... the silence is so relaxing. All we can hear is the crickets chirping as the bus is heading toward the school. The wind feels breezy and the road appears to be quiet. Between all these things we can see our main leads – Aarav and Ankita talking to each other in a low voice. During the whole picnic they seem like buddies to everyone but now... they appear to be in love... secretly... the scene ends here as she lays her head on his shoulders, as they both are looking outside the window... enjoying the windy weather and the cold night.
