I can see the gazebo!

I briskly walked as I am approaching the gazebo hoping to find someone in there... standing or waiting... but there was no one.

I went in the gazebo and scanned for clues. There were vines on the pillars and flowers and low lights hanging on the ceiling. I looked at the comfy chairs and beside it was a low table with a vase and... another note?

I quickly went to the table and grabbed the note.

Pull the string.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" I looked everywhere but I saw no one. The only thing I could hear were the leaves rustling and my breathing. I stared at the note and sighed.

"I hate to break it to you but I think your lover didn't receive your note..." I quickly got the scrap of paper in my bag and held it up.

"You must have accidentally dropped it on my bag." I waved the paper.

Nothing.

Exasperated, I sat on the chair and just sat there for a long time.

Now, what should I do?

I stood up and played with the string.

Why send a note and not show up? Why leave notes when no one's watching? What if... Is it possible?

I went outside the gazebo and called out. "Hello?! Is anybody out there? Please..." I scanned the dark garden and found nothing except my shadow and someone else's behind me. Wait... What?! My eyes went wide with shock and I quickly turned my head back to find someone standing. He was wearing black from head to toe with his face covered. I knew it was a man because it was just impossible to be a girl. He was tall and broad shouldered and before I knew it, he pulled the string.

I looked up and saw a bucket. Everything went in slow motion as I saw the bucket tilt sideways and then I saw the color red. I then saw the red fluid... No... it was paint. I can tell from how the thick its fluid was and its smell. Right then I was lost, I stood frozen. The paint was all over my body and I was shaking. I saw a flash and when I turned to look for the source, I saw a crowd of girls and few male students laughing at me. It took a lot of courage to hide my tears and I feel so dumb for even going here in the first place.

I ran away from the gazebo, away from those mean girls who couldn't care less about other people. As I was rushing out of the scene, I heard a distant cry of anguish. I turned to look for the source of the noise and was surprised to find myself in a different place. I stopped in my tracks and I couldn't figure out how I was in a different place in an instant so I scanned my surroundings for clues but failed. Then, I heard the cry again. I followed the noise and it led me to a car accident.

I can smell the burning of gasoline and I saw a man carrying someone from inside the car. He laid her on the ground, stooped down and still holding her. His shoulders were shaking and it didn't took me a while to know that he was crying.

I walked closer to the man and stopped. I heard another voice calling out. "Daddy!" And then a faint sob. I went near the car and saw two girls on the back seat. The girl who called out was younger than the other girl who was passed out from the crash and there was blood on her forehead. I saw the other girl still crying and sobbing, I tried to open the car door but my hands just went through the door.

I looked at my hands and saw that they were transparent, "What's happening to me?!" I looked into the car's side mirror and found that not only my hands were transparent but my whole body was. I can feel tears buildup in my eye and I was hugging myself, not sure if I was reassuring myself or to stop myself from shaking.

Don't cry. I heard a soft voice say. I looked around and saw no one. The man was still stooped down holding the woman while whispering something in her ear and crying. The woman was trying to tell him something but I was too far away to hear it. I looked at inside the car again to check at the kids and found the girl still crying but her sister was already awake.

At a close inspection, I saw that the girl crying had a blonde hair and was wearing a cute baby blue dress with a ribbon on the chest and the other girl was wearing a purple dress and with a ribbon on her chest too.

"Rose?" I looked behind me and saw that the man was already near the car and opened the door. The man crouched and went inside to get the little girl, Rose. "Shhh... calm down sweetie. Everything's going to be alright." I can see the little girl in his arms now, crying. My head is throbbing and my vision was becoming blurred and that was the last thing I saw.
