They said a week after into the marriage is like a honeymoon phase for the newlyweds. But as it is,that's definitely not the case for them.
It's been a month since their wedding, and all their did were just work and work again. The first day of the marriage, they have been forced not to come to the work and all he did was just simply continue his work from home. She like always, assisted him through the work. Making coffee or just beverages for him to eat or filling his stomach.
It's just normal typical work day.
" Do you have anything else you need?" Hani carefully put down the cup of coffee on his desk.
Now, they are back at the office again and it's surprisingly calm and peaceful. No one ever seems to approach her anymore and everyone seems so quiet around her. Weird but still better than nothing.
"No need"
She nodded her head and was about to turn around to leave but she just stop on her track and turn back around again at him.
" Mr. Park"
"I'm sorry this might be unprofessional of me to ask. But can my friend come and stay for a night at the house today?" She ask as he just stare down at her.
He put down the pen. " Why did you have to ask? Just do it. "
"It's none of my business anyway"
"But still. You're my husband and.. that house is yours too.. so it might be rude of me to just bring anyone in"
Silence could be heard throughout the office room. He let out a long sigh as he look at her again.
" You can bring your friend..... and that house.. is our house. You don't have to worry about that small stuff anymore. Just do whatever you want without telling me" he replied. She stay silent.
Our house. It just unfair how he can said that without any concern in his face while herself already in the verge of flying to the moon with joy. One sided love will never be a good hobby for some people.
Alright. I understand" She bow before finally leaving for real.
She close the door and take a really deep breath while leaning back on the door. Why is it so hard to control herself in front of him than her mother?
She shook her head, trying to get back to the reality as she reach in her pocker her phone. Fast and steady. She open the message between her and Ji ah.
See you later at my house - Hani

"So, how's your life as a wife? Wait, let me correct it. As a contract wife" Ji ah grin, smiling at her friend.
"Shut up or I will kick you out" Hani replied make her chuckle a little.
Hani put down the plate on to the counter, right in front of Ji ah and one more at her friend side for herself. She just lazily cook some pasta for both of them to just maybe fill themselves up before going back to the bed.
Now, she took a sit next to her friend. "Eat and don't complain." Hani said as Ji ah just smile as a response.
"But Hani.. where's your husband? Are you sure that I can sleep here tonight?"
Hani nodded between her shoving the pasta down her throat and responding. She finish her chewing before continuing.
"We sleep in a different bedroom anyway. Just please don't go anywhere and make a mess out of it. This is not my house-"
As she speaks, the door house suddenly opened from outside revealing Jihoon who just got back.
She got back earlier than him to let her friend be inside. Leaving someone too long outside is a rude behavior isn't it.
