Jihoon's POV

"Let's end this marriage " I could feel my voice tremble as I spoke that sentence.

Then the silence hit. She stop replying to me and just stay quiet. I just let her be since she might need time on this.

Upon hearing that she loves me too. I was overjoyed. I could feel myself shaking from happiness as I heard that words coming from her lips but at the same time, I'm confused.

Me? She loves me? A person that have thousand of flaws. A person that couldn't even sleep by himself and need medication for it?

I admit that I was too sensitive when she say she's uncomfortable but I understand. I'm overwhelmed. From all of this new emotions that I never knew I could feel it.

I don't want her to be uncomfortable. I don't want to kill anyone anymore. I love her too much. so much that I could not let her suffer with me. She deserves someone better.

" I understood " she reply all of a sudden. I turn my head to look at her. She got up from the couch and just stay standing right in front of me.

"But I refuse to be divorced with you" 

I look at her as she just calmly stand there.

"Isn't our first goal for this marriage is the benefits? You and I both got some benefits on this marriage. and you did. Your name have been clean from the rumors. But mine? I still haven't be able to get the benefits from this marriage " she speak.

"What.. do you want? Money? House?" I ask while facing her. She looks composed yet determined.

She shake her head as a reply. I just stay silence, waiting for her to finally response to my question.

" I agree to marry with you so that I could stay by your side"

"I want to stay by your side until at the end of the marriage. Let me take care of you. I will still be able to do that if I stay as your wife. Yes, I admit before this I accept the marriage because of my feelings. Now it's different. Let me stay until the end of our contract after I assure myself that you will be fine by yourself. Then I will leave by my own will. Don't worry" 

I got speechless. Not knowing how to react.

"I accept the silence as you agree to my conditions. Then good night" she slightly bow her head before walking away straight to her room before giving me any time to response.

Hani's POV

I glance at the clock on my table as I tie my hair into a bun.

It's 12.30 am

I got up and rushed outside out of my room and slowly walking to his room. I open the door and was greet by his back that was calmly sleeping on the bed.

Is he sleeping?

"Come in"

I flinch, as I heard his voice. He slowly roll over and now he's on his bed staring at me. I look at the other way as I walk into the room, closing the door behind me before slowly making way towards him. His eyes follow every movement that I made.

I walk to his right side of the bed, thinking hard on my next move.

"Here." Jihoon pat the sheet by his side as a sign for me to lay down next to him. I stare at him, still dazed.

He reach out for my right arm and slowly led me to lay by his side. I stay silence as I lay down. In this quiet room, I can hear my heartbeat pumping out loud from inside of my chest.

Then it goes silent again. He stay quiet well I just awkwardly staring at the ceiling. Well, this is my second time here isn't it?

"I'm sorry"He softly mumbled to himself but I just happen to have a good hearing. The corner of my lips raised a bit.

" I admit I was a little taken aback but I accept your apology "

He stay silence but I can feel his eyes on my right side staring into me quite intensely. Is it about today's event or it just because we are getting too well this day, I managed to ignore it and feel weirdly comfortable.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't in the right mind when I say that"

I just smile at his words.

" You know. Since I already slip my tongue and admit my feelings to you before, I should take the responsibility and finish it off before our divorce. I choose this path and I will finish it. I know our condition shouldn't be like this. I know that I can't be in love with you but I can't stop it. I try thousand of times to just ignore this feelings but as you can see it still there" I continue.

" Please-"

He goes quiet again.

"Please what?"

He seem hesitant.

"Please don't throw your feelings for me away"

Immediately, I turn my head towards his face and was shocked by how close we are actually right now.

"For now, can you keep it there? You already say that you want to take responsibility before leaving me. As you still my legal wife, please love me. " he calmly said that as his eyes soften.

I gulp down as I stare at his eyes. I felt like at this moment is the right moment for a kiss but instead I immediately turn around and face the damn ceiling again.

"Well we will see. I'm quite disappointed today by the way you asked for the divorce " I try to calm myself down.

I close my eyes to force myself to go to sleep. Well, now. Now, it felts a little overwhelming to be here.

I close my eyes and ignoring him before finally fell asleep.

The morning sun has made it way into the room. The sound of car engines buzzing throughout the neighborhood.

I stay silence as I stare at his sleeping face from the side. I smile as I softly touch his nose. He looks so cute right now that I don't want to bother his beauty sleep but still I have to right.

I softly shaken his arm, trying to waken him up. In just two try, he already aware of the surroundings. He slowly open his eyes, trying to fight the sunlight, his eyes immediately wide open and just stare. It seems like I startled him.

"Good morning" I smile.

He nodded. "What time is it? Am I late for work?"

He try to get up to search for his phone but I shove his body back down the mattress. He again looks so stunned.

"I ask for a day off for both of us today"

"What?"

" Please get ready, I want to bring you out to somewhere " I get out from the bed and stands just a few feet away from him.

"Where do you want to bring me?" He still looks a little taken aback.

"I already said that this time this marriage will bring benefit to me." I smile as I got closer to him. Teasing him is so much fun. I hold my laughter as I see his face goes panic. I held my face so close to him.

" A date. I want to bring you out for a date"
