The car was brought to a halt once it reached its destination in front of a big modern house. Wednesday pushed Enid's shoulder in an attempt to wake up her up in which led to total failure.

"Enid." She whispered, no response.
"Enid." She says in her normal voice while grabbing her arm as Enid quickly shot up.

She grabbed her hand and pushed Wednesday down as her claws shot out before realizing where she was and who she was with.

"Jeez don't you know how to wake a sleeping werewolf? I could've killed you." She says, still, fully holding Wednesday down.

There's was a pause before Wednesday spoke up grumpily. "We're here."

"Ooh!" She pulls her claws back to only now realize the blood on her fingers.
"OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY?" "Im fine." Wednesday says dryly while getting up. "S- Sorry." She said slowly as she looked around once more. "Come on, I'll show you around!" She says, grabbing Wednesdays hand once more, practically pulling her out of the car as if she'd forgotten about what she just did to her.

It was still night, a cold chill ran up Wednesdays back as the breeze brushed up her arm.
It was cold, but Enid was so warm.
Her warmth felt like it was going to burn right through Wednesdays hand.

Enid stopped at the door as the sound of muffled screams and laughs were heard just behind it.
She sighed as Wednesday stared at her in confusion before Enid pulled the door open only to reveal 3 boys wrestling each other and big mess left behind them.

"We were gone for 3 hours! Get off! Up! Up!" A voice yelled behind them, it was Enids mother.

The boys quickly got off each other to get a proper look at Wednesday.

"whose that?" One of them said, breaking the silence while pointing at her.

"We have a guest, she'll be staying with up for a bit until her parents can get in contact of her. Her name is Wednesday." Murray says with a smile as Esther glares at him unhappily.

"I'll show her, her room." Enid says making her way up the stairs with Wednesday behind her.

As they get to a room which was pitifully obvious to be Enids due to the random mix of colors that made Wednesdays mind a blur, she closed the door. No longer able to keep her smile.

"I can bring in a mattress for you if you'd like." She says quietly while Wednesday places down her bags.

"Also um, I think it's best if you stay away from my parents, they can be really mean sometimes." Enid says with her hands behind her back and a face full of despair.

"I'm sure it won't bother me." Wednesday says coldly while placing down a black blanket on the floor as Enid brings her a pillow, making Wednesday pause.

She glanced down at the pillow then up at Enids eyes. She was utterly baffled. Confused as to why she was doing so much for her tonight, why she was being so nice to her in general.
Her eyes trailed back down the the pillow as she gently grabbed it and placed it on the floor.

"You sure?"

Wednesday straightened up at her words to look her in the eye.
She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out as a thought popped in her mind at the very last second.

"If they are talking badly about 'me' I won't be disappointed" she speaks up, emphasizing the word "Me"

Her eyes trail down to the floor in embarrassment as a low, knowing, smile crossed Enid's face before she turned the lights off and hopped in bed.
