The weekend was over fast, I visited my grandma, who was the only one I had left, started writing a new song for guitar and laid back. I really needed this two days break.
I packed my guitar into my locker. The first two lectures were already over and I had a small break. I didn't really had time for it yet, so I decided to explore the campus. I found a music room, where a grand piano and some other instruments were in. I haven't played piano in a long time. My fingers flew over the keys, my eyes closed. I started playing a small melody, but then stopped, realizing someone was watching me. Hua Ze Lei. "You also play the piano?" I turned my head to him, staring right into his eyes. He was wearing a coat with a sweatshirt under. I nodded. "Did you get breakfast already?" Wow, he really wanted to get breakfast with me? "No, I didn't had time yet." He was actually happy to hear that. "Come on, we'll go to the cafeteria." My eyes widened. "O-ok." I followed him to the cafeteria. There I got myself breakfast. I turned around, and walked to a empty table. Suddenly I tripped over something and fell on the floor, my whole breakfast over me. "Not again." I sighed, then stood up and took my tray, threw it into the trash and left the cafeteria, leaving Lei behind.
I washed the food, I could get off, off. My coat was now wet and I knew i couldn't wear it. I only had a t-shirt under, so it was getting cold already. I left the bathroom and walked to my closet, placing my wet coat inside. I shivered already, how should I survive this day? I closed my locker and stood there for a while, then making my way to my next lecture.
I couldn't concentrate the whole time, I was freezing and couldn't write properly. The class got dismissed and I buried my face in my hands, sighing. I sat there for some minutes, but then stood up and packed my things together. As I walked out of the hall, my eyes landed on a person leaning on the wall in front of it. "Lei?" He must have been in this lecture too. "Where's your coat?" He seemed to nice my goose bumps. "In my locker, it's dirty and wet." Lei seemed to think for a second, but then took of his coat and hung it over my shoulders. I was shocked and a shiver went down my spine. "Just take it, I have another one in the bridge room." My body was still in shock. He walked away, heading to his next class. I collected myself together and placed the coat right on my body. The vanilla smell filled my nose and I sighed. I knew if I would have said something, I would have just stuttered.
The next lectures I could concentrate finally and write everything with.
I still had the coat from Lei on as I walked into the cafeteria to get something for brunch. I sat down at a table and started eating. "She's wearing Lei's coat, or?" "Has Lei a new girlfriend?" More whispers filled the room and I placed my headphones in my ears, shutting them out. My leg started bouncing up and down, my hands shaking. The music helped me calm down, but not always. I needed to concentrate on not getting an anxiety attack in front of the whole university. "Come on Faye, concentrate." That, didn't work. I sat up and ran out of the cafeteria. I didn't know where I was running to. Somehow, I ended up in the music room. My body slided down the wall and I brang my legs to my chest, hugging my knees. I closed my eyes and tears flooded down my cheeks. "What is just wrong with you Faye.", I whispered. It has been long since I had my last attack. I sat there for some time, until I heard how the door opened and a person stepped in. 'Please go just away.' The person walked around some time, until they headed into the direction of me. "Faye." I didn't realised who it was. A soft hand touched my shoulder and I flinched at the contact. My head went up and I looked into the eyes of a very familiar person. "L-Lei." His brown eyes were filled with worry. I must have looked terrible at this moment. His hand cupped my face and he drew small circles on my cheek, making me calm down. My hand searched for his other, holding it tight. He placed it on his chest, making me feel his heartbeat. "Concentrate on my heart beat." I did as told. We sat like this for some minutes, until I fully calmed down. Lei was still kneeling in front of me, his hand interwined with mine. "Wanna talk about it?" I shook my head slightly. He stood up and held his hand out for me to take. My hand was still shaking. I slowly reached out and placed my hand in his, he helping me stand up. "T-thanks." It was not only embarrassing for me to stutter, also having a attack in front of him. "Don't be embarrassed, it's ok to have an attack." He caressed my back slightly. I noticed now he had a different coat on. I had his light blue on, he the beige one. His coat was a bit bigger when I weared it. "Come on, what is your next course?" "I-I don't have o-one." I was finished with my timetable. I wanted to go home after brunch. "Well, I don't have any lectures left too, so I can drive you home." My eyes widened. "T-that would be nice." I hate my stuttering. He took my hand and led me outside. "Do you need something from your locker?" I hummed. Now I led him to my locker. I felt some people that were also in the floor staring at us. At my locker, I took out my guitar, violin and my bag. "I'll carry your guitar." I smiled at him thanking. I placed my violin on my back and my bag over my head. As we walked out of the building, all eyes were on us. Lei put his hand on my back to give me some comfort, what worked. We reached Lei's car and there were already some persons leaning on it. The rest of F4. "Lei, who's your friend?", a black haired boy asked. "I'm driving her home. We'll meet later at Daoming Si's house." They nodded, eyes on me. The three walked away to another car. Lei walked to the trunk and placed my guitar inside. He gestured with his hand to come over and give him my things. I did so and let him pack my violin and bag inside.
The ride was quiet. It wasn't uncomfortable, but neither comfortable. My leg bounced up and down the whole time. As we held in front of my apartment building, I stepped out and walked to the trunk, that was already open. I grabbed my things, placed my guitar on my back while my violin and the bag were in my hands. Lei came around the corner, he looked like he wanted to help me, but I was faster. He closed the trunk and turned to me with a slight smile on his face. "Can I give you my number?", he asked. I didn't expect that. "S-sure." I gave him my phone and he typed his number in, then calling himself to be sure. He gave it back to me and I packed it into my bag. "How do you come to school every morning?" "I take the metro." His eyes widened. "With this much luggage? Isn't that a bit stressing?" I nodded slightly. "What do you think about if I pick you and drive you back home?" Now my eyes widened. "W-what?" Was he really being serious? "Of course only if your okay with that-" "I would love that.", I cutted him off. He smiled at me. "Good, half past eight?" "Sounds good."
