After class had finished, Candice visited her favourite boba shop down the street. There she met up with her best friends she had known since childhood, Grace and Claire. "hey Candice!" 'hi guys! i understand we haven't been able to see eachother that much because of exams buut i figured we could have a nice chit-chat over tea.' Once they had ordered, they took a seat furthest from the others. "So, have any of you guys found your mates?" Claire asked. Candice perked up, unsure of how to respond to the question. Grace stepped in with an unexpected answer; "yes! I think I've finally found mine. It's Evan! I've been meaning to tell you guys." Candice raised both eyebrows in surprise as they both congratulated her. "Candice? You?" Grace lightly tapped her on the shoulder with a grin. She hesitated, but soon mumbled; 'yeah.. i think so..' she joined her two index fingers together, and blushed profusely. "really?! who?" "oooh.. is it spaaade?" Grace teased. "No, no, no!
