Nicholas sighed, he was holding Kat's hand as they made their way down to his parents apartment.

"Hey, you okay?" Kat whispered. His headache has only gotten worse.

"Feeling sick now. I don't know what's happening to me." Nicholas whispered, his voice shaking with pain.

"Probably just stress. You have been really busy lately." Kat whispered.

Nicholas hummed and tightened his grip on her hand as his spare hand went to his stomach.

Suddenly Kat pulled him to a stop "Easy now Nicholas, just stop for a minute and cool off, if you want I can go and get your parents and bring them here." Kat said.

"No, no, I'll be fine, their just down there, but could we walk slower for a minute." Nicholas said and breathed heavily.

"We'll walk as slow as you need." Kat whispered, she gently turned and slowly walked towards the door to his parents apartment.

"Thanks." Nicholas whispered as Kat knocked the door.

Ali smiled as he opened the door and let them inside.

"Oh Nikolas you really weren't kidding about the sick part." Ali suddenly said in worry as he walked Nicholas over to the couch.

Nino looked at Nicholas in worry before going back to his book.

"I'll be fine soon, hopefully." Nicholas whispered.

Ali looked at Kat.

"Throat hurts and headache." Kat whispered and Ali nodded.

"I'll get you a glass of water." Ali said and gave Nicholas a few pillows as Kat sat down next to Nicholas.

Nino glanced up from his book, "Stressed?"

Nicholas nodded "Very stressed. Su-Han does not take it easy on me." He rolled his eyes.

Nino snorted "When does he ever go nice on you?"

"Cheeky aren't you?" Nicholas smirked.

"Been with Mama and Papa too long." Nino also smirked.

"Oh-oh ab Nino is blaming you for being cheeky." Nicholas called over to Ali. His right hand went straight to his throat to massage the soreness.

"Snitch." Nino snorted at Ali's 'leave Nikolas alone'

"Can't blame me." Nicholas weakly chuckled.

"Nickie, have you been having any weird dreams or anything? Waking up in cold sweats?" Nino asked.

"Um last night I woke up in a cold sweat." Nicholas said.

Nino nodded and went straight back to his book. 

"Why?" Nicholas asked.

"Just wondering." Nino yawned.

Nicholas chuckled "Apparently you've been on a nine hour flight as well."

"Been up for six hours." Nino snorted. "Been waiting for you so papa doesn't die from loneliness with mama being in work. He and mama are still to close. It's getting gross." Nino shivered.

"I heard that!" Ali called from the kitchen as he brought the cup of water to Nicholas.

"Thanks." Nicholas said, slowly sipping on the water.

"Is your throat any better?" Kat asked.

"No but the water is soothing." Nicholas said.

Kat nodded.

Nino stood up "I'm going to bed now that Papa isn't alone."

The others nodded as Nino went up the stairs. Closing the door to his bedroom, he outstretched his hand and said 'Amelia'

"Nino?" She asked.

"Can Morrigan make people sick?" Nino asked.

"Why?" She asked with narrowed eyes.

"My older brother, he's gotten really sick lately and I can sense something dark around him and I don't like it." Nino ranted.

Amelia sighed "He hasn't done that in over a thousand years."

"Done what? Please I need to be able to protect Nickie! He always protects me. I need to protect him now." Nino said.

Amelia smiled softly before she went serious "Okay, basically Morrigan's type of sickness is making people get headaches or cold sweats. It's like the flu but some don't make it after three to five moons. But the only way we can be sure is if he sees a red door." Amelia explained.

"What happens if they don't make it? Or see the red door?" Nino asked.

"Well their forced to leave this realm. And Morrigan can find out who he is basically killing. So if your brother is experiencing this then I need to help you find a cure fast. How long has he been sick?"

"I don't know, I think about two days." He hasn't said anything about a door though." Nino said.

"Okay. If we can find the cure by tomorrow or before the fifth day we can save him. But Morrigan won't stop until he gets revenge on you." Amelia said.

Nino nodded "I know. But no one brings my big brother into this."

Amelia smirked "Let's get studying then."

Nino nodded and sat down and opened his book as Amelia started denying most things in the book to help.

Nicholas groaned, Ali has gone to bed as it is late, He and Kat are watching Tv but he's not getting or feeling any better.

Kat gently squeezed his hand "Nicholas, it's just a cold or stomach bug."

"A bad stomach bug." Nicholas said. He leaned his head against Kat's shoulder.

She simply brushed some of his hair away from his slowly starting to sweat forehead. "Bad but hopefully it'll be gone soon."

Nicholas hummed in agreement. There was suddenly a yell and a black claw came out from the floor.

Nicholas gasped. He quickly sat up and noticed Kat was sleeping next to him. He quickly brushed his hair away.

He sighed and laid back down. He rubbed his eyes and took a sip of water.

He then heard banging coming from upstairs.

He looked up at the dark hallway and slowly started walking towards it.

"What is happening up there?" He mumbled to himself before slowly walking up the stairs. He flicked the switch on but it broke instead.

"Great." He whispered to himself, pulling out his phone for a flashlight instead.

He heard a bang cone from the end of the hallway. He slowly turned around and saw a large red door in the middle of the wall.

He slowly walked towards it.

He suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and a voice whispered to him "Nicholas."

He quickly turned around only to see nothing.

"What in Kalimati?" He mumbled before everything went black.

He, once again, shot awake. Kat was next to him awake and watching Tv, looking at him in worry. "Are you okay?"

"No." Nicholas whispered "Not really." Was all he could say to his love.
