Over the day, Ali managed to get someone from the Guild to heal Layla at home, she's sleeping in their bed. And Nino is practising with his powers. Gasping as he saw another person in a bed.
Seeing a 30 year old man, laying unconscious in his bed with his children crying next to him. Sighing, he walked over in astral form and laid his hand on the man's heart and gasped as he saw who was killing him.
"Hello again, Nino." Morrigan smirked, showing all his teeth in a very dog-like manner.
"Morrigan." He replied, glaring heatedly. "What do you want?"
"You." Morrigan smirked and flicked his hand, releasing the man and allowing him to breath again as he saw his kids.
Nino yelled as he was sent back into the black void, with Morrigan pinning him against a pillar again.
"You know, The last 3 weeks, I thought that I would need to wait for you to realise that your powers are growing. But I don't and you fell right into my trap." Morrigan smirked, "Did you really think you could use my powers without me realising?"
Nino smirked, "No, I didn't, that's why I had some backup." On cue, Amelia yelled as she threw her knife through Morrigan's shoulder, making him yell and move away from them, releasing Nino as he did it.
Nino grunted as he fell onto his knees but thrusted his hand out and made a force knock Morrigan into a pit of... what looks like ghost snakes.
Nino took in another breath as he left the void and woke up in his bedroom again, seeing Ali looking worried.
"Um papa?"
"You fought Morrigan, didn't you?!" Ali asked, worriedly.
Nino sighed, "Basically, Papa, I saw a man dying and went to see what was wrong and it was Morrigan with the help of Amelia, I managed to get away from Morrigan." he explained and saw how pale Ali went.
"Is there anything I need to know about your powers?" He asked.
Nino nodded and patted the spot next to him on his bed. Ali sat down and saw Nino levitate a book from under the bed.
"Um did you just.."
"My powers are getting stronger, Papa. I should have told you about my powers the minute they got stronger but my powers are, Astral Projection, New healing factor and telepathy. and I'm gonna get many more powers than this. Morrigan is after my powers. Because they were his." Nino explained, and Ali went paler.
"How did you get them then?"
"When Morrigan possessed my body 3 weeks ago, My heart accidentally adsorbed some of his powers but they got stronger faster cause my body was healing faster. Morrigan is after me for my powers. I'm not shutting myself off like I did last year, I'm just training my powers. And I got nervous to tell you." Nino explained, Ali sighed as he gently took the book from Nino and set it aside as he held both of Nino's hands.
"I will admit, I was a little hurt that you didn't tell me but Like I said earlier I can't make you tell me everything. All I can do is wait and hope you are ready to tell me. I'm happier now that you told me why you were just sitting on your bed in trance. But how many powers are you gonna develop?" Ali said.
Nino smiled sadly, "I don't know how many I am gonna get. All I can do is train and see if anything new comes up." He explained but Ali could see something in his eyes.
"What aren't you telling me? I can see it's not about your powers."
Nino sighed, "You are still annoyingly good at knowing how I am feeling sadly. I'm scared Papa."
