Kat breathed heavily. She threw Nino one of her weapons so that he could free himself while she went to help Nicholas.
"Are you okay?" Kat asked as she ripped Nicholas free.
"Been better." Nicholas gasped. He struggled standing as Kat helped him up.
"Clearly." Kat snarked. She pulled him away as Nino landed on his feet and rushed over.
"Nickie! Are you okay?" Nino panted, he could feel the redness spreading everywhere across his throat.
"I'm fine. Are you okay?" Nicholas asked. He was panting like crazy.
"I'm fine. Let's get out of here." Nino said.
Nicholas looked down, he felt something slimy on his leg, turns out there was a vine wrapping itself around his right calf. All the way up to his upper leg.
"Guys..." Nicholas slowly said before he got pulled onto his back and dragged away from them.
"Nicholas!" He heard Kat shout as he got thrown away from them.
He struggled sitting up as even more vines started slowly slithering across his body. Trying to hold him down.
"Where are you going, Nicholas?" Morrigan said. He slowly walked closer.
Nicholas gasped and managed back away.
Morrigan's hand had red light flickering between his finger tips.
"Wait! Can I say goodbye to everyone first? If I'm gonna die?" Nicholas asked.
Morrigan stopped. "I guess that's the way it was meant to be done."
Nicholas sighed in relief.
"But I ain't following the rules today. If Nino won't then I won't." Morrigan smirked. His hand shooting red light towards him.
Nicholas grunted. A sudden wave of air pushing him away.
Just as the red lightning went over his head and hit the ground straight on.
"Nino! You are on fire today!" Morrigan cackled.
"What can I say?" Nino smirked. "Things change when you try to kill my brother. Time to end this."
"Oh-oh, So a teenage boy thinks he can defeat me?" Morrigan asked mockingly.
"I did it once before." Nino said.
"No, Eric did before. You had help." Morrigan said.
"Yeah but now I don't need help." Nino said. Clearly he was getting arrogant with his powers.
Morrigan was going to use that to his advantage.
Apparently falling for Nino's tricks.
"Tell you what? I'll give you one minute to go and let Nichols say his goodbyes. Then I'll strike." Morrigan said and disappeared in a puff of red smoke.
"Let's go." Nino said as Kat helped Nicholas stand up.
Nicholas gasped. Eyes flashing white before he saw Nino in front of him being back in the apartment.
"Akhi, I need to get to America." Nicholas said.
"Come on then." Nino said and grabbed Nicholas and Kat's arms, dragging them away.
He instead brought them up to his room, "Amelia!"
Amelia quickly floated into the room, "Nino, I saw what happened."
