Thirty minutes later all the guests left from visiting Mommy and Baby.
"Zac, could you tell the nurse that I don't want any more visitors today?" asked Fatima as she starts to feed Baby J again.
"Alright," he followed the crew downstairs to the lobby to do as asked.
Mrs. Pat finally arrived at the hospital. When she went to the front desk the clerk said that Fatima wasn't allowing any more visitors. She decided to text Fatima to let her know that she stopped by.
Mom: Fatima, I stopped by to see the baby, but they said you weren't having any more visitors.
Fatima: Sorry, but it's getting late. We are about to get some rest.
Mrs. Pat was highly upset and decided to go back home.

The next morning Zac texts everyone and told them that Fatima and the baby should be able to come home later. Andi and Ms. Tamela agreed to get their home and nursery ready for them. Andi also wanted to have a welcome home party, but Fatima wasn't up for it. She didn't want a lot of people around the baby yet. The only people she was allowing around the baby right now, were the same ones that were at the hospital.
"T, it's up to you, but I think you should let your mother come by the house today," Zac suggested.
"Yeah, she came by yesterday, but it was late. As soon as they discharge us, I will let her know."
The doctor came in to do a few final checks.
Around 5:00 pm, the doctor was ready to discharge them.
When they arrive at the house, Andi and Tamela are there welcoming them home.
Tam has offered to stay with them for a couple of weeks until they get settled in.
"Give me my grandbaby," she said taking the carrier from Zac. "Mema is going to spoil you the next two weeks."
"Come take a look at the nursery. Ms. Tam and I finished it," said Andi.
They all went to take a look at the nursery decorated with the little mermaid theme.
"Thank you, friend. It's so cute and thank you Mema." She hugs them both then they heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll go get it," said Zac.
It was Fatima's mother.
"Hey Mrs. Pat," he greeted.
"Zac," she said sarcastically.
So, we are already on the bullshit. Zac thought referring to the fact that she did not say hello.
"Is my daughter and grandbaby here?" She asked.
As annoyed as he was, he was trying his hardest to be respectful. "Please have a seat, I'll go get her."
Zac went back to the nursery to get Fatima.
"Hey, T, your mother is here."
"Ok, I will be there as soon as I change Baby J."
"I'll change her Fatima," Ms. Tam said taking the baby from her.
As they walked to the living room, Zac stopped Fatima.
He whispered to Fatima, "Look your mom is on one today, as any other day. I'm telling you I know I invited her and she's your mother, but I will kick her out if she tries something."
They gave each other the pinky promise kiss. (It involves intertwining two people's pinky fingers and kissing your thumb). They do it to signify that they have each other's back and when making promises. This time Fatima was letting him know that she had his back when it came to her mom.
They entered the living room. "Hi, mom."
"Hey Fatima, you look good," her mother said. "Can I see my grandbaby?"
"Thanks. Ms. Tam is changing her diaper, but she will bring her out shortly." Fatima responded. "So how have you been?"
"Considering your dad up and left me and you disowned me, I'm doing fine. I went to stay with your godmother, Cora in Savannah. She brought me home when I heard you were in labor."
There she goes again blaming everyone, but herself. Fatima thought.
Ms. Tam enters with baby J.
"Aww, there goes my little grandbaby," said Mrs. Pat excitedly. "Let me go wash my hands."
"Be nice," Ms. Tam told Fatima.
Mrs. Pat returns ready to hold the baby. "What's her name?"
Fatima introduces them, "Baby J this is your other Grandma Pat, Grandma Pat meet Jurnee. Jurnee Zakari Taylor."
"Aww, hi Jurnee. You're such a pretty baby," said Mrs. Pat. "Can I be called something else besides grandma? Like something cooler."
"You're welcome to choose what name she calls you. Zac's mom will be called Mema."
Mrs. Pat gets a little offended. "Oh, so she gets the first choice?"
"Here we go," Zac annoyingly said.
"What you mean, here we go?" Pat asked with attitude.
"Give me my baby," Fatima said.
Zac got on her Ms. Pat, "You're getting all upset about a title, one that you could have had a first choice over if you were acting right."
"Do not speak to me that way," She warned Zac.
Tam was starting to get pissed, "She can have the damn name if it means so much to her. It's always some mess with her."
"Nope, I don't want it, I'll just leave."
Fatima put the baby in the carrier, "How about I give you both the names I want you to have and then we leave at that. Mom will be Mimi and Ms. Tam; you will be Gigi."
Mrs. Pat rolled her eyes.
"Mom, you seriously need help. Because you caused all this for nothing."
"I'm tired of being blamed." Pat gets up and leaves.
"Let her go," said Zac.
"No disrespect, we'll maybe a little. She has serious issues." Zac said directing it to Fatima.
Fatima is speechless. She was going to talk to her dad when he comes over. Something has to give.
