2 weeks later

Fatima and Zac finally settled into their new home. Ms. Tamela moved her stuff in as well. They are renting out the entire 10-unit townhome complex that they just moved out of, which will bring in almost $20k a month of income. As well as 2k a month for Ms. Tam's home. That easily pays the mortgage of the new house and then some. Zac also wants to start flipping some homes.

Tamela went up to New York to a friend's wedding. She offered to take baby Journee with her. She is 14 months (1yr, 2 months) old and none of the family in New York has met her yet.

"We are finally home alone. Don't you think we should...?" Zac started to say.

"Should what?" Fatima was curious to know what Zac was up to.

"Christian these rooms in this house. Which room do you want to start at? The kitchen, the bathroom, the nursery?" He joked.

Fatima just laughed. Then she started running.

"Where are you going girl?"

"To the man cave."

"Oh, shucks," Zac yelled as he followed behind her grabbing the bottle of wine.

So much has been going on that their sex life has been slacking, but Zac is determined to fix that.

After a few hours, a few rooms, a few drinks, and a few orgasms later, they ended up in the bedroom.

"Ooh, babe I'm worn out," Zac stated.

"For someone who complained for a month that we weren't having sex, I thought you would last longer than me. Maybe I'll continue to hold out for a month at a time, to wear you out like I just did." Fatima tried to persuade him.

"Hahaha hell. Whatever! How long did my mom say she'd be gone for?"

"I believe 5 days."

"Alright then. I'm getting some every day until she returns and then 3 times a week after that. Deal?"

"We'll see." Fatima got up to shower. It was just 8:00 pm. "Find a movie for us to watch before we go to bed."

"Yes, woman."

Fatima had resigned from her position at the law firm. After her grandma gave her and Zac the real estate business she decided not to return to work. Instead, be her own boss and help Zac with Taylor Your Home and Marino's Investment Group.

He texted Fatima to see if she had any plans later today because he wanted to take her out on a date.

After he left the office, he went to buy her some roses and called to make reservations at this Sushi restaurant.

Fatima went to fix her hair for their date tonight. Right now, she had some braids, so she did a cute little updo and then took a long hot bath.

She could hear Zac enter the house.

"Babe, is that you?" She yelled.

"Yes." He came upstairs to the bedroom.

He kissed her. "You look good and smell good. Can we skip the restaurant and do a round two of yesterday?"

"Boy, go shower. What time is the reservation?"

"5:00."

"Oh, you need to hurry up and get ready then."

He finished getting dressed and they headed to the restaurant.

Patrick came home from school.

"Son, have a seat, please. I would like to talk to you about something." Said Mr. Fred.

"Oh gosh, what is it this time?" He seemed annoyed.

In the last year in a half, the Wilson family has been through a lot, but Patrick has felt the most change. During the separation/divorce of his parents, he started acting out a little. Unlike Fatima, who was an adult and had moved out before that time, Patrick couldn't. He went from living in a two-parent household to a one-parent household. A nice house to moving in an apartment with his dad and had to change schools. Which he eventually transferred back. Feeling abandoned by his mom even though he has not expressed that to anyone. Then he found out he had an entire family; cousins, grandma, and aunt that he never knew he had. Then in the blink of an eye, that same grandma that he just met, he lost. Through all that he needed his mom the most. It's one thing if she couldn't be around, she just chose not to. Seriously, he couldn't take it anymore. Fred thought that he should see a therapist. He's a good kid. He hasn't lashed out in a while, but lately, he's been quiet. He goes to school then comes home and plays video games. All the emotions he keeps bottled up.

"What's going on son? Do you want to talk to someone about your feelings?"

"You mean a therapist? Not really."

"I just don't like how you are bottling things in."

"I'm good."

"Well, I want to talk to you about something, but I want you to be honest with me. I had been thinking about moving to California near your Aunt Fran and them. I think it would be a good fresh start for me and a way to connect with my sister. As for you, I would love for you to come with me, but I don't want to keep interrupting your life because it would be a lot of adjustments and you've already been through enough. What I want to do is give you a choice."

"Thank you, Dad, for finally giving me a chance to choose. I know I can't make a lot of decisions for myself because I'm still underage. But I'm 16. I understand I had no say in mom and your marriage, but I felt like I didn't get a choice in who I got to live with or just voice my feelings at all." Patrick disclosed."

"Son I'm sorry that's how you felt, and I didn't acknowledge your feelings. Well like I said I would love for both of us to go up there. Get a chance to bond with your new cousins and Aunt while living in a new state. The other choice is we don't go at all and that's ok. We can revisit the conversation after you graduate high school. The other option is, I go to Napa, and you stay and live with Fatima and Zac?"

"Well, I think you should go, Dad. Life is too short, and you've already missed out on 30 years of a relationship with Aunty. I would love to stay here with Tima and Z. I could finish school here and then go to college in Cali."

"Ok. The only thing is I would have to run it by them to see if it's ok. Just know that you have to listen to them, behave, and do good in school. The same respect you used to give your mom and me when you lived with both of us, is the same respect you have to give to them. The lashing out and hard-headedness that you've been doing have been overlooked because of all that we've put you through, but that stops today. You hear me?"

"Yes sir." Patrick hugged his dad tightly.

"Alright let me talk with them and then we'll talk some more. I love you son."

"I love you too." When Patrick went to his room, Fred called Fatima.

At the sushi restaurant, they talked more about having another child.

Fatima started the conversation. "So, baby if we decide to have another child we are done after that, whether it's a girl or boy."

"Oh, I'm not agreeing to that. We are trying for a boy, but if it's a girl I'm fine with trying 2 more times until we get a boy. I got to have me a Jr."

"Umm, it is my body. I'm not having that many kids. I also talked to my dad. He wanted me to ask you if it was ok if Patrick lived with us until he finished his last two years of high school. He will possibly leave on the 1st of July."

"Of course, lil bro can stay with us."

"You sure?" Fatima asked.

"Yes. We'll have lots of help for when Junior arrives."

"Oh Zac, I can't with you."
