Upon reaching the ledge of the cliff we saw a city that nestled upon a large plot of land. Surrounded by oceans and forests. It almost seemed like this place was pulled out from a kids storybook. We decided to walk the rest of the way as we wanted to take in the scenery. I felt the gentle, soft breeze tickle my face and giggled as I felt it flutter beneath my dress.

"That's a Statue of the Seven! There are few of these statues scattered across the land to show  The Seven's protection over the world. Among the seven gods, this god controls the wind. Paimon's not sure whether the god you're looking for is the Anemo God, but... Paimon'll take you to the Anemo God's place first, and there's a reason why-"

She took me towards a lake where in the center laid a stone statue.

"As we all know, poetry and language flow like the wind... There'll be definitely be someone there who knows about your brother. At least, that's what Paimon thinks! Whether the gods actually answer you is a different story. You never know unless you try. So, let's hop to it!"

I swam towards the lake and slowly walked to the statue. I placed my hand on the statue and I could feel a magical sort of energy resonating from the statue. It started to glow and a light turquoise orb came out from the statue and started to float towards me. The orb absorbed into me and I was engulfed in a soft teal light. I noticed that parts of my clothes glowed turquoise as well.

"Ooh! Did you just feel the elements of the world? Seems all you had to do was just touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo. As much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you." said Paimon.

"I think I know why, it's because..." I got nervous. I knew this would make me a target to an evil organization or just a bunch of general do no-gooders may see me as a threat or may want to kidnap me and use me as a weapon for their own nefarious plans. Best that we keep this on the down low.

"Ah-ha, it's because you're not from this world to begin with. If we keep heading west from here, we'll eventually reach Mondstadt, the City of Freedom. Mondstadt is the city of wind because they worship the God of Anemo. So perhaps, because you got power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there. There are also lots of bards there, so perhaps one of them has heard news of your brother. Let's move then! The elements in this world responded to your prayers and Paimon thinks that's a lovely sign."

"I think so too, Paimon. I think so too." I said as I smiled at her.

As we got back on the path we were attacked by a bunch of various monsters. Paimon told me that what I faced were called slimes and hilichurls. Slimes are creatures with elemental energy and according to Paimon taste very good as they have a jelly-like texture. I don't know about you but slimes don't really look edible or appetizing. But hey don't knock it till you try it... I guess. Hilichurls are a mysterious sort of monster. No one knows where they came from and no one knows what they really are but what we do know is that they make for horrible company. They raid, pillage, and plunder with no second thought and will attack anyone on sight.

It gave me a chance to use my Anemo powers. I could summon winds that can blast away and spread around different types of elements towards my enemies. I knew this could come in real handy in the future.

"These are the Anemo powers you got from the Statue of the Seven. Aww... Paimon's so jealous! Why doesn't Paimon get cool fighting powers!?"

I smiled at her and rubbed her head a little. "Don't worry, Paimon, you're perfect just the way you are."

"Really?" she asked.

"Really, really." I said as I gave her a wink.
