We entered Stormterror's Lair and it looked like there was an eternal thunderstorm happening but without the thunder, lightning, and rain. There were old ruins everywhere, hilichurl camps were in almost every corner, there was a large, tall tower that sat in the center. That is where we had to go.

When we reached the tower the center was blocked by magic seals. Those seals had to be destroyed if we wanted to save Dvalin. Fortunately there were contraptions in each corner of the lair that controlled the seals. We each took a contraption and solved the puzzles in front of us. When we regrouped back to the tower all the seals have vanished. I felt the pit of my stomach drop. I knew that this was it. This time there's no room for failure. We come back with Dvalin alive and cured or we bring the grave news to Mondstadt that he has been slain.

"I'm thinking about turning these adventures into songs after we're done..." said Venti.

"Well, we certainly have gone through quite a lot." I said.

"Hopefully, this song will be sung for years to come by the people of Mondstadt, just like The Legend of Vennessa."

"I have loved that song since I was small. How are you feeling today Lumine? I am completely prepared and fully confident that we can do this." said Jean.

For context, Vennessa fought against the cruelty and brutality of Mondstadt's old aristocracy. After that she formed the Knights of Favonius and was later known as the first Grand Master and Mondstadt's Dandelion Knight. It's a popular story for the children and aspiring heroes of Mondstadt.

"You're so reliable, Master Jean... But to be honest, I'm kind of nervous." The last time I fought Dvalin I almost got whacked by his tail and blown away to my doom. How can I be so sure that I'm capable of fighting him now?

"Even Master Diluc accompanied us to the very end. Despite only being an accidentally involved... Bystander." said Paimon.

"You shared your secret with me, and I only returned your trust to the same extent." he said.

"So trust is what drives Master Diluc here." I said.

"As for Master Jean... responsibility perhaps? What about the Tone-Deaf Bard?" asked Paimon.

"It's freedom. When you first arrived at Mondstadt, did no one tell you that Mondstadt is the City of Freedom?" asked Venti.

I thought of Amber. "Amber..."

"Hahaha... She really is a child of freedom! Mondstadt is a romantic city, without the reign of a king. And it's citizens enjoy the most freedom among the seven nations. I hope the dragon that once protected Mondstadt will soon be free too... No one should have deceived him by telling him that Mondstadt betrayed him. And no one should have told him that it was eternal duty to protect the city. He has the right and freedom to choose his own way of life."

"Venti..." I placed my hand on my heart. For a minute, I could even hear Aether in his voice. He along with mother told me that everyone has the choice to be whatever they want to be and no one has the right to take it away. I bet if Aether, mother, and father were here to see me fighting for the right reasons they would be proud.

"Well then, Lumine, may the thousands of years of wind that have blown through Mondstadt go with you." said Venti.

I smiled at the group and everyone smiled back. Even Diluc smiled at me.

"Paimon... I wanted to let you know that... if we never see each other again just know you're the best travel companion ever and the best friend I ever had..." I hugged her and Paimon had trouble holding back her tears.

"You better come back alive. Paimon'll never forgive you if you don't."

"Hehe~ Wouldn't drean of it." I said as I rubbed her head.

I stepped off onto the platform and and jetted into the air to face off with the dragon.
