Chapter 33: To the Land of Fire

[Yun's POV]

      The weather is kind of chilly, but it couldn't be helped. It already been 3 months ever since Mee-Yon revealed herself as the ninetail fox and the reincarnation as Suzaku Ninetails, who is actually Hiryuu's brother. Though... Eun-Kyung aka Mee-Yon's mom, told us that Mee-Yon is part of the sword and shield, but the rest are separated from something else. Well... I guess we'll find out for ourselves then.

Me: (warming up myself) All right, I think that'll be enough.

I pulled a huge wooden wagon filled with food, medicine, and water and was about to go somewhere.

A Male's Voice: Yun.

Me: Hm? (turns around) Ik-Soo, where is everyone?

Ik-Soo: Still sleeping. Are you going?

Me: Yeah.

Ik-Soo: Can't I go, too?

Me: No! You stay here. I'm this kind of self-satisfying hypocrite, after all.

Me: (blushed a bit)

      After that, I traveled myself all the way to Katan Village, my homeland, which is in the Fire Tribe. Today, I'm giving the people food, medicine, and water. In the land of Fire, young men were taken to the Kai Empire to train as soldiers. All there is left was the elderly, women, and children who were sick, weak, and poor. General Soo-Jin didn't care for his people, but kept money in the government while the villagers must pay the price of heavy yet high taxes in return. Oh crap! That reminds me... I forgot to tell Ik-Soo something, but... what is it again?

Kid 1: Oh. It's Yun. (ran towards me and gave me a hug along with the other two kids) Yun!

Me: It's been a long time. How have all of you been?

Kid 1: We're all fine though... I'm hungry...

Me: Don't worry; I'll make something warm right away.

      After I finished making some food, I head to Old Man Se-Dol, the villager's chief. He told me that food is scarce in the Katan Village and more importantly; another tax has increase and has only gotten heavier. The problem is... people in the land of Fire couldn't do anything, but to repay either if it's short or not.

Me: I have provisions. I'll pass them around to everyone.

Old Man Se-Dol: Thank you... Oh, by the way Yun... Are those people behind you are friends of yours?

Me: What?

Once I turned my head around, Yona and the others came right before my eyes.

Me: WHY ARE YOU GUYS HERE?! O______O

Yona: You left so stealthily, so I was worried.

Kija: I accompanied the Princess and Mee-Yon-sama.

Zeno: (using Shin-Ah's fluffy wig thing) Zeno came along with Seiryuu's fluff.

Shin-Ah: .....

Ao: Pukyuu!

Mee-Yon: You shouldn't have leave us behind.

Kirara: Mew!

Me: GO BACK!

Thunder Beast: Yun, I'm hungry. (stomach growling)

Jae-Ha: Yun, could you make some Perilla Porridge?
