Chapter 16: The Senjusou Test (Not one, but two)

Jae-Ha: Yona-chan. Mee-Yon-chan. Over there is the Vanishing Cape. Both of your tasks are located down there. Since both you are doing this together without any help... what will you two do? 

        The ocean was big and wavy as the currents whooshed back and forth while the wind was a little gentle. Both of the girls were tense because... 

Jae-Ha: This is both of your last chances to back out. 

Yona and Mee-Yon: ..... 

Mee-Yon: [thinking] Ah man! I shouldn't have say a thing. And on second thought, I could have did the other test that Captain Gi-Gan could have gave me, but...

Yona: A high-risk job...? 

Captain Gi-Gan: Yes. Right now both of you girls are extra baggages that serves no purpose. If you two are fighting alongside us against Kumji... I'll need to see if both of you are appropriately prepared to do it. 

Mee-Yon: Prepared... 

Pirate 2: Captain, that's a bit too much...

Captain Gi-Gan: Don't interrupt me! Senjusou grows on the Vanishing Cape. It's a medicinal remedy that can cure the sick and wound 3 times faster than normal.

Yun: 3 times faster?! This is the first I've heard about a medicine like that! 

Captain Gi-Gan: It's a valuable medicine within Kouka Kingdom that only grows on the Vanishing Cape. The people in Awa who know about it are small in number. Because there is a small amount, it must no be completely plucked. Of course, Kumji must not come to know of it. They would sell it and place an outrageously high tax on it. If we have that plant, out injured comrades will recover quicker. It's something we'll greatly need for future battles.

Jae-Ha: .....

Captain Gi-Gan: The guy who usually picks it has been injured. If you do it in his place... you'll be accepted.

Yona and Mee-Yon: We understand.

Captain Gi-Gan: Miss Mee-Yon is not included in this. She'll take a different test.

Yun: So that was your plan from the start! Yona, this is crazy!

Yona: Yun... plea--

Mee-Yon: Wait a minute! Let me... help Yona. I'll help her to get the Senjusou instead. 

                                                               Everyone were silent until Yun broke the silence. 

Yun: Are you crazy, Mee-Yon?! We're not letting you nor Yona doing this! 

Kija: Y-yes Mee-Yon! You can't just randomly say this out of nowhere! 

Yona: Mee-Yon... you don't need to.... 

Mee-Yon: No... I want to. [thinking] It's also my duty after all. [speaking] I can't just let someone do anything on their own. I know that both of us can't do it alone. That's why... I wanted to help you. It's the least thing that I could do, Yona.  

Yona: Mee-Yon...

Mee-Yon: (smiles a bit) Now, Captain Gi-Gan... will you accept my offer? 

Captain Gi-Gan: Hmmm... I accept. As long that both of you are working together, then it's fine. Jae-Ha, guide them.
