A Promise [Akatsuki No Yona Fan-Fic] (ON HOLD!!!)

Chapter 20: The Fight of Kumji Part 3

        The final battle begins between the Pirates and Yang Kumji has just started. The guys fights the extra guards and officers while Mee-Yon, Yona, and Yun were helping the others to tie them. 

[Mee-Yon's POV]

        I couldn't use my Blood bending technique because the limit ends on the half red and white moon which is now. It would be great if I used it properly and the battle could have been quicker too. My left ankle is still throbbing. Somehow... it won't stop and I don't know why. But my instincts are telling me to find Kumji until the red moon ends. I looked at my time and the moon was near to a waning crescent. I still have time before it changes back to its normal form. I stopped on tying the guards and officers for a moment and then putting my legs together like if I was bowing. 

Yona: Mee-Yon? 

Yun: Oi, what are you doing this time? ¬o¬ Come on and help. 

        I was silence and I didn't answer them. I tried to focus on what I doing as I was taking a deep breath. My eyes were closed, but I image them being open on their own like if I have Shin-Ah's eyes.

A voice: I'm Yang Kumji, 45 years old. I'm somewhere within the ships I've been hiding to, where no one will ever find me, yet I knew that a pirate will catch me for sure. But I won't let that happen. 

        Where is that bastard now? My eyes were scaning as I was finding each and every the that he's on. Where is he? Where is he? Where is he?! My mind was in deep thought... 

A voice: For now, I'm waiting for a certain someone... Someone that I finally found it rare...

        I opened my eyes quickly and I've already know what ship he's at. Smart move, old man, but you will not escape. I stood up. 

Me: Yona... Yun... I'm going after Kumji. Both of you stay here.

Yona and Yun: WHAT?! O____O

Yun: Baka! You can't and you still need to help us to tie these guys. Also, your wound isn't completely healed! 

Me: I'm fine. Beside... I'm immor-- (covers my own mouth)

Yona: You what? 

Me: Nothing really! (fake laughs) I really don't have much time so I gotta go. 

Yona: But-- 

Me: --being invisible... doesn't mean I can't do anything. I gotta do something. That's why... (mumbles) I have to do something... in order help all of you... 

        I jumped out from the ship like I was like Jae-Ha, who was soaring the sky, then jumped to another willing to find Kumji on my own. The part of me wants to find Kumji and rip out his guts while other doesn't want to do anything. I have no other choice. I wanted to be useful in order to full filled my duty as a ninetail fox. 

        All I do was keep promises and keeping my back away from others to get hurt from me. I hate it... If my friends get hurt... then it's my responsibly to get hurt too. Dad and other ninetails told me that I have partial of the powers of the four dragons and the whole within me was the powers of the ninetails that I couldn't quite control yet. I wish... that I could get stronger.... to protect what's dear to me. 

         As I finally found the ship that he's on, I landed on the wooden floor lightly. I checked my surroundings to make sure anyone appears. I then found a door. I think this is where Yang Kumji is hiding. I know this is stupid because they might sneak attack me, but I really don't have time to waste. The red moon's power is almost up and need to hurry. Just as I was opening the door, a guard was aiming at me, but luckily, I dodge it and punched his guts with my right arm like Kija. Simple... but without realizing/noticing, someone was behind me then hand cuff with metal chains on my wrist and ankle as I fell the wooden floor. Damn it!
