Chapter Four - Meeting place

Present
One year later
Thinking back to that day when that incident happened I was so shocked that they actually killed them right in from of us I felt guilty cause I know it was me who reported I was the snitch yet two innocent girls were killed I wanted to help but made things worst.
Now standing here watching as everyone was smiling and was celebrating it made me sick, an outsider might come thinking we were all happy but that was a big fat lie happy my butt, no we were all forced to do shit we only show what they want us to show " Behave or we will Behave you" that's what Mr Philip's always says.

Every one born on the 1st of June was being celebrated because it was their birthday. All the June celebrant stood close to each other to cut the cake including Rachel and Andy they were twenty in number after cutting the three cakes pictures were taken and snacks was shared.

Garden

Andy and Rachel sat on the wooden chair in the Garden
"Close your eyes Rachel
"Okay, she closed her eyes
He took her left hand and opened her palm he placed something on it.
"You can open your eyes now
"Okay, oh my lord , she smiled . It's a locket it's so beautiful
" am glad you like it
He took the locket out of the little box it was a locket which had their pictures, she smiled when she saw this he help her put it on.
"Aw so pretty am so happy thanks
"Well you are welcome and that's your birthday gift and my love never take this off I mean never it should be on you always and forever
" hmm ,that's weird but okay
" so where is my gift?
"Oh no, am sorry I don't have and we should leave someone might see us we could be punished or worst
" I seriously am not happy with you, and who cares about being caught
" okay why don't you close your eyes
He closed his eyes and she moved forward and placed a soft kiss on his lips he was surprised and opened his eyes and stared at her for some time. He them pulled her close and kissed her passionately, that was her first kiss.
At that particular moment Jennifer felt like all her world crumbled being betrayed and pushed aside she hid her self as she watched from afar at what Andy and Rachel were doing she began to cry.
"You kiss so well for a first timer
" Really?.,me Rachel, she asked smiling at him
"Yes you
" so this is your present I hope you like it
" I don't like it, I love it, he teased her
" to make you love it more do you remember the time I told you I would think about it like me being yours?
" umm yes of cause I do
" so now I am yours, I mean I say yes besides we already know more about ourselves
" that's so good, he jumped up playfully
" stop it
She hit him and ran while he ran after her playfully.

"Rachel and Andy is what I hared true?
"Sorry madam
" little witch you are still dumb you seem to forget, not only did you break the rules you both kissed have you both lost your manners? You are apologizing and still calling me madam after I warned you
" We are sorry we won't do it next time
" oh shut up, she screamed waving her hand
"Enough, Monica you shouldn't speak to us that way
" Andy calm down, that's disrespectful
"What ?do you both wish to be sold huh... how dare you?
"Hmph, he scuffed, it seems like you have forgotten already Monica you never know who would end up being sold or pushed out of that chair
"You both would be separated from each other where you would never see each other again you would be transferred by the end of this week and that's final
" we would take our leave now, Rachel replied
" Get out, she roared out, get the fuck out of my office
Rachel dragged Andy out, Monica sat on hair chair with her right hand gripping her table she shivered in fear remembering the look on Andy's face when her threatened and stared at her.
"What a Crazy bastard, he won't kill me right. She said reassuring herself.
Jennifer was arranging her cloths when Rachel came in.
" what are you doing?
" as you can see Rachel am folding my cloths
" I know but why is here scattered
" I know what you are trying to say but it's not like that am just packing my things because am being adopted
" really? Wow I mean Umm it's sad I wonder if they are good people do you want to go? .. I will miss you
" they are good and very wealthy and I want them I like them I will miss you too but I want a family now it's not like I don't have you guys here but I want a new life a new beginning
" okay I can't stop you anyways, let me help you with that
" never mind
While they were arguing on who to help or not Rachel touched her body it was hot her temperature was too high, Jennifer stood up but placed her hands on her forehead when she was about to fall Rachel held her and lay her on the bed
" you didn't have too
" oh keep shut, I have to Jennifer you are my only best friend and sister in the whole world I have too, besides what's wrong with you?
"It's just malaria, oh lord my head it's so painful, she cried out bitterly
"Wait here
Rachel stood up to the bathroom she took out a bowl of warm water and a hand towel she placed it on Jennifer's head
"Don't worry in no time it would subside and you would take some drugs when you rest a little, why didn't you tell anyone?
" I didn't want to bother anyone and who knows my chance of being adopted might be taken away from me
"So sorry
" so where were you?
" in Monica's office
" nothing much didn't want to bother you too
" really?... okay then, umm what a nice locket you have there
" oh thank you
"It looks original no not it looks it is original like pure gold
"Gold? Oh please, she laughed, I doubt that I know it would wash out soon
" Rachel have you forgotten the work we do here? I steal you know so I know all this real accessories and it seems precious to you how come I have never seen you wear it who gave it to you?
"Nothing, what's up with all this question? Rachel asked guiltily without being able to look at her in the eyes, well it seems like you are better that's good
" thanks Rachel
" for what dear?
" no one has ever been this nice to me
" look at you silly, she smiled, what are best friends for? .. I love you
" me too, I hope even if am gone you will never forget me I hope to meet you soon and we won't hide anything from each other
"Of cause we won't nothing can come between us I will always remember you
" Rachel together forever
They both hugged each other for so long forgetting to let go and drew deep in their thoughts Rachel was filled with guilt and pity while Jennifer was filled with pain, anger and hatred, Jennifer smiled devilishly at Rachel's back side she thought in her mind saying "you were supposed to be my friend you were supposed to support me yet you took him from me I swear Rachel I would make you pay and take everything from you just wait soon am coming.
