Chapter Sixteen - How i lost him

Before the truth.

Rachel arrived home the house help opened the door, she walked in and at the dinning she saw personal guard John and three men including her personal guard Shantell. Oh lord what's happening could it be Andy is about to fire Shantell because he wasn't following her around oh no that's her fault she thought to herself
"Where have you been woman? Andy asked in a cold tone
Before she could reply he stood up and slapped her twice with force which made her lose balance as she fell on the floor it took her by surprise including everyone because he has never raised his hands on her no matter how angry he was. Andy moved close to her he placed his hands and strangled her but the guards stopped him.
"How dare you Shantell and John? Do you want to loose your jobs
"Sir forgive us, Shantell pleaded
"You might kill her sir, after all she is still your wife and is pregnant, John replied

Truth

"Ahh Andy what has come over you? She cried out holding her belly and touching her left cheek
"You whore lying bitch, I trusted you how could you?
"What do you mean Andy? You are hurting me so badly, she cried out in pain
He threw some pictures and documents at her face she gently bent down to pick them up the sight she saw made her scream with shacks hands she opened all the documents and saw the sex tape and all her meetings especially today's meeting with Ortega but how do that bastard really did it she thought to herself also seeing all her call logs
"Andy please, she pleaded with her hands join together, wait let me explain
"Explain what? Huh? Get out now, he roared out repeatedly ,out out get out.
She pleaded for forgiveness as she cried out bitterly but to no avail, Andy forcefully dragged her out
"Andy please don't do this I beg of you, how am I supposed to be on my own I won't survive without you please babe, I have no where to go it's about to rain heavily and you know it's cold am pregnant please, she cried out
"I simply don't care
"At least give me my phone.

Shantell brought the phone to his boss who arrogantly tossed it on Rachel then was chased out of the mansion with nothing on her but her phone
"Get her out now, he ordered Shantell
"Yes boss, he bowed down and took her out
After minutes of driving they arrived at the main gate it was already raining heavily, Shantell opened the car door she came down and he bowed for her.
"Am sorry you had to go through this, but you have to leave madam
Waiting for her to respond and seeing that she ignored him he tried handing her an umbrella cause of the rain
"Madam this all I can do please take this umbrella and three thousands Naira , he said trying to hand it to her but yet again she ignored him and walked away barefooted looking haggard and frustrated and a mess, she walked further as the strong wind attack her skin and her cloths wet from heavy rain.

Chef Basil walked closely to Andy who looked furious as he broke and threw anything in front of him he screams out in anger.
"Sir you should calm down
"How dare you tell me to calm down? Who are you to tell me that, he roared out
"Am sorry sir, but even if she did bad at least remember all the times she did good which was more than the bad, she has always been beside you and you both promised to never leave each other most especially she is pregnant and out there alone and cold in pain at this late hour
" but she did wrong
"Sir we both know that you of all people shouldn't have a say in this we both know you are worst than her especially your secrets
"What's that supposed to me?.., at least i didn't do it all intentionally yet she did
"How are you sure sir? You never let her explain
"You better watch your mouth old man
"Sir I have served your family for so many years and watched you since you were a child I have seen you gone wrong so many times, but sir this time you went so wrong a big fuck up
"But am in pain so much pain, he replied sadly, it's like a thousand swords are striking my heart and a flaming fire consuming me with hot pepper it's to much that I can barely breath or think straight
"I know sir
"What should I do Basil?
"At least try to call her to see if it will connect, if she is okay because of rain and the streets are not safe especially with the recent attack happening I mean there are a lot of crazy people out there, am sorry to say this but she might lose the baby or get hurt or worst may the lord forbid die
"John? He called out
"Yes sir
"Get the car ready.

He walked it from his car going further the guards followed him due to the heavy rain fall he could barely see he walked further and further.
"Sir you might get sick we should go back now
"I can't believe I let her go out in this cold this heavy rain with her condition, fuck pregnancy even I as a man shivers out here what more say her
"Sir you did it out of anger
"Anger you say John, after all her love at least I shouldn't hurt her this way we must look for her
Andy brought out his phone and tried calling her number, getting close to a tree nearby he saw a gold locket slightly covered in mud he bent down and picked it up seeing it was what he gifted her at the orphanage.
When he walked further he saw a light noticing it was an ambulance he walked towards the direction and shockingly he saw Rachel lying lifeless she was covered in blood and was being attended too
"What happened here?
"There was a car accident a hit and run, who are you sir? One of the attendants asked
"How dare you question him? John roars out
"Am sorry, but we can't let strangers get closer or know information, the attendant replied
"She is lucky the Army moved close by because of the recent attacks they were the ones who found her and thankfully our hospital is not far from here
"And why are you still here wasting time shouldn't you be there already ? Andy asked in anger
"I don't know what's your problem or why you are angry, I mean who on earth would let a pregnant woman out in this cold dangerous late hour that's so cruel
"I am Andy, I am her husband.

Hospital
Four Days later
Andy sat close to her bed, Rachel woke up she saw Andy and tried standing up but the nurse held her
"Madam you just woke up please don't try to stand on your own don't stress yourself and not to worry you and your baby are okay you just lost a lot of blood but you should be okay now , are you hungry?
"Yes I am but I don't have appetite, she replied in a low voice
"Still you have to eat just order something light, i would leave now take care, she walked out

"Andy what happened?
"You were in an accident
"Seriously, for how long have I been here?
"Thankfully your injuries weren't severe you just lost a lot of blood like the nurse said, you were out for four days
"Andy please let me explain
"There is nothing to explain I just want you to know that none of my wealth would be given to you I want nothing that concerns you
"Wait, she hesitated, meaning? I don't get
He passed some documents, she hesitated at first but opened it and panicked and cried out when she saw what it was
"No Andy don't do this please don't leave me I can't , she cried out
"Well I can and I will, let's get a divorce
"If you won't stop I won't sigh it and you can't stop me
"Really? Can't I?just sign it while am still nice you know what Am capable of and I have taken care of the hospital bills so enjoy this luxurious vip room because I guess soon you won't have any place to stay
"Can you hear your self Andy? She asked not believing what he just said, you are being disgusting and it's so low of you to threaten me
"Oh am I ? Speak for yourself,okay fine if you say so, at least as not the one fucking around
"Andy am sorry please no no please
She pleaded trying to hold his hand but he shoved hers away and walked out with his guards.
