Ortega ran into the library screaming there is trouble
"You goat stop bleating around, have you forgotten this is a library?
"I have no time for you Jennifer,I hared something ooo
"What did you hear?
"Andy I hared Rachel was called into Mrs Philips office
"What did she do? Andy asked looking worried
"How am I too know
"That witch of a woman , oh no poor Rachel getting in trouble already I hope she won't get transferred or sold poor thing doesn't even know what's going on
"Watch your mouth Jennifer or you might end up being the one sold you know they watch us always, let's go
"I think it's best if we wait first, Ortega suggested.
Mrs Philips dressed in a red suit seated on her office chair while Rachel was standing in the front of her table
"You are Rachel right? I guess the new girl? She asked staring at her from head to toe
"Yes madam
"Don't you dare call me madam ever again you make me seem old, she spoke in anger, well call me Monica ,hmm I hate you already, she rolled her eyes
" I apologize ma-
"Oh you fool, she hit her hand on the table which made a bang sound she screams as she stood up close to Rachel. You apologizing makes me look weak and you making the same mistake makes you senseless
"What did I do for you to hate me?
"What did you do? Huh, she scuffed , you are dumb not to notice , but you sure would be good for business, she smiled lustfully while checking Rachel out
"I don't like the looking, I just want to know what I did wrong
"You have been here for only some months and you have caused lot of trouble, two weeks ago you were caught speaking to Andy when you were not permitted to, three weeks ago you broke the expensive TV saying you were cleaning it was a mistake and now you fainted this week you seem to like all the attention on you
"But ma.... I mean Monica it was really a mistake and none intentional
"I forgive you because you are new here and you called out my name now, am watching you one wrong move I will transfer or won't hesitate to sell you
"Sell me? She asked not understanding,how?
"Enough questions just be warned now get out.
Rachel walked out and closed the door
"Rachel are you okay? That witch is a big problem, Ortega asked
"What did you do? Jennifer asked
"Why did you faint that's the questions you all ought to be asking her not all this, Andy replied
"Well what does she mean by she will sell me
"U mmm we don't know
"Ortega you what do you mean you don't know? you all seem to be hiding something from me besides that am okay
"Yes Andy is right we are sorry for all the questions
"It's alright Jennifer
Two weeks
Rachel held Andy's hand as they both walked together in the garden
"I can't believe you are holding my hand
"Andy don't you like it?
"Of cause I don't like it, I love it
"Right I saw you love letter, she blushed
"So Umm what do you think? Would you like to be my girlfriend?
"Umm I will think about it
"You are smart it's okay, I also loved the way you answer all the question thank God today is the last day of our final exams until we go to the university
"I thought we couldn't I mean I thought once we were adults we could leave
"Rachel it's a choice you know you could leave or stay that's if you are permitted to or you weren't sold or adopted and we are being sponsored depending on how smart you are you might be picked and sponsored
"I hope we both get sponsored ,what would you like to study?... well for me I would study estate management I also want to have my own orphanage
"That's nice to hear, hmm I don't really know but I have always loved arts like drawing and painting also I love books
"Okay then , Andy we should go the beck in time I mean we shouldn't get caught especially by Jennifer
"You are right , take care then. They hugged each other and left.
The room lights were switched off Rachel tiptoed inside the room suddenly the lights were switched back on she screamed as she saw Jennifer on her bed.
"Oh lord you scared me, she said placing her right hand on her chest
"Really? ... okay where were you?
"I don't get it's not like you are my keeper
"That's kind of similar to what Cane told God before he was punished
"But Jennifer you aren't God, I went for a stroll
"Late at night? Hmm okay,but I told you to stay away from Andy I want to have something to do with him I have feelings for him
"Jennifer I am doing nothing with him I swear, she lied looking down
"Really you aren't lying right ?you are my friend
" no I know you love him so why would I? .. I wouldn't dare
"Of cause you shouldn't because you know what happens to all the girls that had their eyes on Andy?.. they were either sold , transfer or adopted, she smirked devilishly
"Are you threatening me ?
"You are the one seeing it that way Rachel, besides you say you have nothing to do with him so no p I love you
She stood up and hugged her and lay on her own bed. Ortega faced the window while Andy rested his back on the wall with his hands folded
"Andy why are you doing this you know I like her besides you have Jennifer
"Just because you like her doesn't mean I can't have her too you know, quit making a fuss about this
" Andy you would regret this if you choose to betray me you won't have all you want it won't end well I promise you , you both won't have the last laugh
"Seriously is that a threat? He scuffed, have I never gotten what I wanted ,done let's see who wins you better stop cause at the end you would be the one hurting, I am Andy after all
"You are not my friend you are a bastard
"Just shut up and stop making a fuss because of a girl
"Did you say because of a girl? Andy You are the one who started it
"Go fuck your self , he ignored him and lay on his bed with his eyes shut.
