(Damian's POV)

"You're sure it's going there?" I ask, making Silvers sigh.

Silvers: "From what the doctor knows, yes." She stands and walks over to a world map and points to a northwestern part of Russia, "Leningrad nuclear power plant, all the other ones were said to not be a 'tactical' target."

"So what is their plan? Detonate a dirty bomb in a non-active plant? That area has been under a ceasefire for years so what sense does it make to do that?" I try to imagine the reasoning being the target.

Silvers: "The doctor isn't well versed in English, but he seemed to agree with the science behind the target." She pauses and points at the lakes and streams around the plant's location, "If that factory melts down and leaks into the soil and waterways, it will poison the surrounding areas and would result in the deaths of millions up and downstream."

"So the meltdown has to be stopped, how do you plan this? This is something APEX and EDEN should know about and is way above us." I start to get frustrated.

Silvers sits back down and slouches slightly.

Silvers: "There are people that would rather not see our kind together, and the only way I can prove that against them is if you prevent unwanted suffering. I'm sorry but I cannot tell them anything until the bomb is stopped." She admits.

I open my mouth to reply, but the words never come.

Silvers: "I am transferring Jade and Sara's squads to Europe for relief as a cover to get you there, bu-"

"You want to chase a bomb alone?" I cut her off.

Silvers: "If you would let me finish, those APEX Predators are your new allies in this fight." She pauses to look up at me, "Jade is being transferred to assist with your effort and Sara is going to take the rest of the squad."

Why the fuck...

"She would rather shoot me in the back than save the world." I put bluntly.

Silvers rolls her eyes.

Silvers: "I need to talk to her about her attitude, but the other two already knew this was coming. Your comrade Matt will also be with you since he already seems too deep into this to remove him from you." She states.

Sorry Matt...

"So what, you expect us to make it through Europe into Russia and just wait for the bomb to show up?" I ask.

Silvers: "We may have a lead on the bomb itself, an EDEN civilian cargo ship was linked to an intercepted transmission. Its crew seemed to have falsified papers and the ship was intercepted by your people, the crew abandoned it and scuttled it to make the trail go cold." She mentions.

"So one random ship was your best lead?" I ask as she holds up a picture.

Silvers: "Recognize him?" She asks and holds out the picture towards me.
