(Damian's POV)
I take the usual route up the damaged office building and notice that this time not a single person is lingering about here and think to myself how nice it is to break away from everything for just a moment.
I stop as I pass a window and look out and see rain silently landing on the window overlooking a street with many fighters going on with their day to day lives.
After a few moments, I move on and keep going up a few more stories before reaching an access stairway to the roof.
I head up it and open the door to see our little makeshift overhead is indeed keeping the rain out just like Divlje said it would, and after I had the idea of him in my head, I see him sitting on the ledge of the building rather than where we would normally sit.
I hold my L1A1 by its carry handle and walk towards him, and he takes notice of me.
Divlje: "It's good to see you again, and happy late birthday, I was starting to wonder if you were too busy with a certain someone." He gives me a smile and turns around and gets off of the ledge.
"Same to you." I take a quick look around at our little setup, "Seems to have held up well over the winter." I mention and knock on the wooden support holding the sheet metal roof above us and lean my rifle on it facing upwards.
He walks over to the table that we had brought up here months ago and sits down on the makeshift stools made out of old heavy wire spools.
Divlje: "Well, do you have something for me this time." He says as he opens his backpack next to the table.
I take a seat myself and open my backpack and pull out a bundle of neatly kept comic books, some being Marvel and some DC mixed into it.
Divlje's face lights up almost immediately after seeing the comics.
Divlje: "Holy smokes man, all that from one trip down south?" He stands up and leans over the table to get a good look at them, "You even got some one's that were printed right before the beasts attack!" He nearly shouts.
I hold them up so he can't just grab them.
"My end of the deal first, and then you can have all of this." I wave them in front of him as if it was a piece of meat.
Divlje: "Alright alright, you know it wasn't easy to get this without it being ruined." He says and pulls out a stack of newspapers, "Can't understand why you want this stuff, the beasts practically leave these everywhere they go." He sets them on the table, and I set the comics down as well.
I hold out my hand over the table.
"The fairest trade in the Devil's history right here." I say, making Divlje smile and then shake my hand.
Divlje: "Even Az couldn't make this a better deal if he tried, at least for my half." He mentions and slides over the newspapers and I do the same with the comics.
He eagerly unwraps the comics from their packaging and flips through a few before finding a Wolverine one and sits back down to read it.
Divlje: "So why do you want those? Can't imagine that you of all people would be interested in the enemy." He asks without looking away from his comic.
