New York City, "the city that never sleeps", that sentiment couldn't be truer for the crime that was always at work there. On Earth-137 crime was even worse than you could imagine, it was rare that the city could go a full day without something awful happening and there was only ever one person who seemed to show up to stop them, the Spider-Punk.
Even though the Spider-Punk would stop these awful things from happening, he wasn't exactly your stereotypical 'hero' in fact he would never call himself that because he was a "narcissistic bastard" as he liked to say-
Spider-Punk (voiceover): Alright! Enough of that boring shit! My name is Spider-Punk and I'm nothing special I don't care about all the heroic deeds; I just do what I do and that is that. I get up to a lot of stuff with the mask on and without. Without I'm just a student, called Y/N L/N who goes to some boring ass school and lives in an orphanage and that feels depressing so we won't focus on that. When I wear the mask, my life is much more fun. I get to go out and fight criminals because I love a good adrenaline high and I get to play in a band. We are really good if I do say so myself, we sell out shows all the time and we're called "The Spider-Slayers" not a great name I know but we came up with one five minutes before our first show and it stuck.
I have done a lot in my five years as Spider-Punk, we won't focus on the early days because they were boring but the last two were awesome, I have got up to a lot. One time I beat up a guy in a rhino costume who was like ten feet tall with my guitar, it was crazy. I also dated a cat burglar, probably a big highlight because she was a lot of fun if you know what I mean. I once dated one of our band's groupies, that was less fun. I got stabbed.
