Meeting Some Spiders

Y/N was sitting on the bed in the dorm in his spider gear waiting for Gwen to get back from washing up after her haircut. He sat there for a while just strumming on his guitar when the door opened and Gwen walked in with her new haircut that Y/N had given her.

Gwen: "What do you think?"

Y/N looks at her wide-eyed for a second before regaining composure.

Y/N: "It looks- (coughs) it looks really good, I think. Do you like it?"

Gwen walks over to the mirror in the corner and looks at it.

Gwen: "Yeah, I think I do. It's different but in a good way. (turns to Y/N) Thank you."

Y/N: "Oh you're welcome, it was no trouble."

Gwen: "Do you think we should go after our lead now."

Y/N: "Yeah that might be a good idea. I'll meet you on the roof when you're ready?"

Gwen: "Sounds good, I'll just be a minute."

Y/N walked over to the window and perched on it with his guitar strapped onto his back.

Gwen: "Hey."

Y/N: "Yeah?"

Gwen: "Where did you get the stuff to do my hair from?"

Y/N: Oh. I wouldn't worry about that."

Gwen: "Did you steal those too?"

Y/N just stares at her for a second before giving her a playful shrug and putting on his mask before falling backwards out of the window.

Y/N and Gwen swing their way through the woods in Hudson Valley as they follow after a bus that Miles was on with a guy who looked a lot like this universe's Spider-Man, who had died only a few days prior.

They swung in silence for a little while before Gwen spoke up.

Gwen: "Why did you bring your guitar for this?"

Y/N: "Well if all goes well, we probably won't be going back to the school so I didn't want to leave it in the wrong universe."

Gwen: "Oh that was probably a good call."

The two of them quickly perched in a tree as they saw the bus pull up to a bus stop where Miles got off and walked towards Alchemax. The two of them formulated a plan quickly to sneak inside and try to find out what it would be that Miles and this other Spider-Man might be after.

They decided that Y/N was going to be the one to sneak in this time as he made Gwen have the awkward talk with Miles that resulted in her losing some of her hair.

Y/N walked towards the front entrance of the Alchemax building in a scientist outfit that he had taken from someone who was outside on their break.

He entered the building and quickly moved his way through the halls trying to lay low until he made it near the head scientist's office, once there he was planning on sneaking in and stealing data from her computer. As he got ready to enact his plan a guy in a Spider-Man outfit was slammed into the glass wall inside the office.Y/N stared at the Spider-Man for a few seconds.

Is he wearing sweatpants?

Y/N directed his attention back to the entrance only to be crashed into by a guy in a cheap Spider-Man outfit, he fell onto his back before looking up to see the guy running away with a computer and monitor in his hands.

Figuring that was Miles Y/N ran over to the nearest window and dove out of it swinging quickly to where Gwen was while throwing pieces of his scientist outfit off to reveal his Spider-Punk outfit under neath minus his denim vest. He landed on a branch in front of Gwen and quickly got his vest and guitar from her.
