His mum pointed him out but Harry would have recognized him anyhow. He might have had a poster or two of Louis on his wall during his teenage years.

His mouth was dry and his palms were sweaty. He was nervous as hell and he didn't like this at all. He approached the table where Louis was sitting with a friend.
"Uhm, hello."

Louis looked up and smiled. He gave him that look. Oh? Really? Harry's gaydar was going off.
"Hey, darling."

"I'm so sorry for just approaching you like this." Harry started off.

"It's fine. Do you want an autograph? I don't wanna do pictures tonight, I hope that's okay?" Louis said.

"Uhm, no. I'm sorry to spring this on you. I know how overwhelming it can be, but I have a message from your mum." Harry said.

Louis' face immediately changed. He looked angry.
"Get the fuck away from me."

Harry found a business card in his pocket and put it on the table in front of Louis.
"I'm Harry Styles. I'm a medium. Look me up on YouTube. Call me if you want me to help you get in contact with your mum."

With that, he turned around and left. He saw Louis put the card in his pocket. That was always something.

He returned to his friends and told them he was heading home. A night out had lost its appeal. He was feeling embarrassed. Being a medium wasn't always a gift. In situations like this, he just felt awful.

A week went by. He was busy helping a Private Detective with some cold cases of missing persons. It felt like important work, hopefully helping people find closure or find a lead.

He decided to stay home on Friday and cooked himself a nice meal when his phone rang. He checked the caller id but it said number unknown.
"Harry."

"Uhm, Hi. This is Louis Tomlinson."

Really? Harry turned off the stove and took a seat.
"Hello."

"I looked you up." Louis said.

"Okay." Harry replied.

"I don't know if I believe in shit like that. There's a lot of frauds out there. Are you trying to scam me and get rich in the process?" Louis said accusingly.

It wasn't the first time Harry had gotten that response.
"No. I don't want your money."

"So what? You're gonna do it from the kindness of your heart?" Louis snorted.

"Your mother is really worried about you, so yes." Harry answered softly.

"Everyone knows me mum died. A quick Google search will tell you that." Louis huffed.

"True and yet, you're calling me. If you want to sit down I can ask your mum to tell me things I can't research in public records so you know I'm not a fraud." Harry suggested.

The line went silent.
"Hello?" Harry said after a while.

"Okay. I'll give it a try. I have time now." Louis said.

Now?
"Uhm, maybe we could schedule an appointment?" Harry said.

"I'm heading to The States tomorrow. You know what? Never mind. This is stupid." Louis muttered.

"Wait, if I give you my address, will you come over? We can do it now." Harry said since Louis' mum just appeared in his kitchen looking anxious.

"Alright, but I'll bring security." Louis said.

"Of course." Harry agreed and gave him his address.

They hung up and Harry looked around. He never brought clients home. What the hell was he doing?

He needed some time to prepare. He left the food on the stove and took a seat in the living room and closed his eyes. He was already receiving images. Louis' mother was very eager to help him.

Twenty minutes later there was a knock on his door and he got up to open it. Two men stared him down.
"Harry Styles? Can we check your residence for potential threats before Louis enters?"

"Uhm, sure." Harry agreed and stepped to the side.

One of the men walked inside while the other one stayed behind. Harry noticed Louis. His security team had been in the way.
"Hi." Harry greeted.

Louis looked pale.
"Hello again."

The security guy returned.
"It's all clear."

Louis stepped inside. Harry glanced at the two men.
"Is it okay if you two sit in the kitchen? I can make coffee. I need privacy to do a reading. There can be information Mr. Tomlinson might not want to share or it can be quite emotional. We can't be distracted."

The security team hesitated. Louis spoke up.
"It's fine. Stay in the kitchen, guys."

Harry showed them to the kitchen and made coffee. He found some biscuits and put them on the table. Louis declined a cup of coffee and they headed to the living room.
"Take a seat."

Louis sat on the edge of the sofa, keeping his distance. Harry sat down ad well and found a notepad and a pen.
"I usually doodle as a way to connect to the other side. I hope you don't mind?"

"Go ahead." Louis replied.

Harry made himself comfortable and closed his eyes. He started to draw random lines on the paper.
"Okay, okay, let's start. I have two souls with me. They're both female. One is your mother, the other one is young. She passed very quickly. I call it an unnatural death. She says she's your sister."

"That's common knowledge." Louis snorted but his voice was shaky.

"Right, no I won't tell him that." Harry mumbled.

"What?" Louis questioned.

"Uhm, she's saying that you have to stop being a dick." Harry said with an apologetic smile.

Louis let out a surprised huff.

Harry continued to dribble while he tried to process the information he was given.
"Okay, I'm asking for information that will convince you that your mother and sisters are here. Stuff only you would know. Let me see if I make sense of this."

"Right." Louis said.

"Your sister is showing me a stuffed animal. A rabbit. Hoppity?" Harry said and looked at Louis.

Louis looked emotional for a second but then his stone face was back.
"That can be something she mentioned on her blog."

"Right, I have to dig deeper." Harry replied and tuned in.
