I bust into Scott's room, "What the hell are you doing around Derek Hale?" I questioned. In this town there are very few people with bad reputations. Derek Hale being pretty much at the top of it. He looks at me with a mixture of shock and confusion. "How do you know that?" "No. You don't get to answer a question with a question." "None of your business Emerson. When did you even find that out." Again asking more questions without giving me answers. "I was in the woods-"

He cut me off, "Why the heck were you in the woods! It's dangerous." He shouted. "Uh for school.. How is it dangerous?" I questioned. "It just is. Don't be going out there alone Em, especially at night." "Umm why would I be out there at night?" "Just don't. Okay?" I just nodded and walked out. That conversation got me no where. I don't know anything and that's about to change. I hate being left out of the know.

Later that week Scott and Stiles had gone to some party. They didn't even ask me to go. Not that I'd say yes, but still. When Scott got home from the party he slammed his door and I could hear him panting from my room. And, even though he showered before he left, he showered again. which I guess would be normal for coming home from a party. But it's a miracle to get Scott to shower everyday let alone twice.

When the shower ended I could hear stiles knocking on his door, "Let me in Scott, I can help." I heard him say. Help with what? They started talking about Allison and Derek. "It's Derek. Derek Hale's the werewolf. He's the one that bit me. He's the one that killed the girl in the woods." What in the mother of god are they talking about? "Scott, Derek's the one that drove Allison home from the party." Scott slams the door and I hear Stiles banging on it.

I jump from my bed and run out of the room grabbing my hoodie. Stiles is just standing there staring at me. "Well, where the hell are we going?" he still looks confused. "You're an idiot if you think I'm letting my brother run around out the with whatever the hell you guys are talking about. And if it is real, he's gonna need help. So let's go!" he finally comes out of whatever trance he was in and runs downstairs with me following.

While Stiles goes to Allison's I went to the preserve. I figured if it was Derek Hale he was looking for he'd be here. I find Scott and he has glowing yellow eyes. okay, I'm starting to believe this whole 'werewolf' thing. Derek comes over and they start.. rolling around, they look weird and then Derek tells Scott to run because 'they're already here'. Derek gets away but Scott's too slow and gets an arrow in the arm. One of the guys tells the rest to get Scott but before they can, Derek takes all of them out. he gets scott free and they run leaving the guy by himself.

I follow them and they stop which gives me time to catch up to them. I even out my breathing and come up behind them. "HA mom's totally gonna kill you!" they both jump up and stare at me, "Also, who the hell were those people?" Derek, still confused as to why I'm here responds, "Hunters. The kind that have been hunting us for centuries." scott gets angry. "Us? You mean you! You did this to me!"

"Is it really so bad, Scott? That you can see better.. hear more clearly, move faster than any human could ever hope?" Scott doesn't respond. and I'm just awkwardly standing there. "You've been given something that most people would kill for. The bite is a gift." he finishes. "I don't want it." "I mean I'll take it." I add. "Shut up Emerson!" Scott tells me. "You will." Derek answers Scott. "And you're gonna need me if you want to learn how to control it. So me and you Scott, we're brothers now."

I roll my eyes at the seriousness of these too. Derek walks off giving me a weird stare, I walk up to Scott and help him stand. "You're an idiot. You know that, right." He mumbles a 'yea' "But you're still my brother and I love you." He hugs me and we make our way towards home. The sun has already started to rise and it's light out when Stiles pulls up behind us. And we all head to school.

At the end of the day I'm so tired I want to sleep right here on the floor, but all I have to do is make it home to my bed. I get out the doors and Allison's walking away from Scott towards her dad. The hunter from last night. This is just great. One more thing to add to the growing list of things that are going wrong. This isn't going to turn out well.

So I finished the first episode. Yay! It only took what? Three chapters😭 I don't thing I'm going to completely follow the show. A lot of things going on with the other characters won't be put in, but they still happen. Mostly we'll just focus on Emerson and the things she has going on. But don't worry there's still gonna be a lot of the plot. Anyways hope you enjoyed. Byeee!
