Ava sat on the jet. It was early and she was tired. Carter looked to her and smirked "rough night " cater asked as Ava looked to her and rolled her eyes
"Some of us have trouble sleeping unlike others" Ava said as she glanced over to reid who lay asleep as carter chuckled
"Besides I'm pregnant I have an excuse to be tired" Ava said
"Reid" Rossi said as he jolted awake
"Sorry I was sleeping" he said as Emily chuckled
"You don't say"
"We found a 6-year-old boy who had been abused and stabbed. Your baby was at the crime scene I was trying to get him out of there" Reid said as he looked to jj. She had a hand rested on her bump...sorry"
Ava smiled knowing that it wouldn't be long before she and Morgan had their baby
"It's okay?" Jj said
"You know reid simple dream analysis says if there's a baby in your drama that baby's actually you" Morgan said
"I don't believe in dream analysis" Reid said
"I don't know. It makes sense. The case were working in and the case in your dream. Both involve children maybe your subconscious is telling you, you want to sit this one out" hotch said
"I don't" Reid said as Morgan looked to him
"Well maybe you're just stressed out about going home to Las Vegas did you tell your mom you're coming?" Emily asked
"Why aren't we reviewing the case file?"
"I don't know maybe because some fell asleep on the jet" Emily said
"All right. Let's start from the beginning one more time" hotch said as Ava grabbed the case file and nodded
"This is Ethan hayes he was 5. 2 weeks ago he was abducted out of his own front yard" jj said
"Where were his parents"
"His mom just ran inside to grab her purse. When she came back he was gone. He wasn't say for more than a minute or two. Police found his body exactly one week later in the desert. He was in a new change of clothes, his nails were clipped. His hair was combed" jj said
"That's a lot of remorse" Rossi said
"No sign of sexual assault. The medical report suggests he was smothered" hotch said
"I guess that's something" carter said
"Who's the new boy" Ava asked
"Micheal bridges yesterday he set out to walk off a block to a friends house. He never showed up" jj said
"Are we sure these cases are even connected" Reid asked
"The unsub called each other the families" jj said
"But no ransom demand" Rossi said
"It was more like taunts. He's telling them it's their fault that their child was taken" jj said
"Okay so we have an unsub who shows remorse. And then projects his guilt into the victims parents" Morgan said
