hi there! some words to be said before we start first do you ever read and then you realize you forgot to understand and you have to re-read it again?

second i got some random idea for fluff since im all alone in my bed all day because im still sick

also i dunno why my brain always comes up with a new ideas but is unable to force itself to finish them乁⁠(⁠ ⁠•⁠_⁠•⁠ ⁠)⁠ㄏ

also i love soft and gentle Russia it's cute here you go

What a great way to start a day. America though as he shuffled and turned around in bed to face his cute sleeping boyfriend.
He felt blood rush to his cheeks at the sight even tho they were long together.

He groaned as he let his head fall back into the soft pillow. He seriously did not feel alright.
But the work can't wait-.

He felt a shuffle beside him and noticed Russia waking up from his sleep.
„Good morning Meri"
Russia said with a deep morning voice and America couldn't help but still blush at it and at the nickname even tho he get's called by it everyday.
„Good morning"
America said and slightly groaned.

„Hey are you alright? You don't look so good."
Russia asked in a worried tone and even with more worried face as he reached his hand for the other's forehead. Placing his palm on checking the temp and then gently stroked his cheek.

„I will get a thermometer don't you dare to get up."
With these words he left the American laying on the bed and went to get the thermometer.

Rushing back into the room with it he knelt down beside their bed.
„Open" he said gesturing to his mouth.

America did as told and opened his mouth only to be met with the cold iron at the end of the termometer.
(idk if there's actually iron pretend it is)

„America you've caught a cold you have 38C° let me bring you some wet lining."

„I- alright thank you."
America said burring his head more into the pillow.

Russia got up from knees and went to the bathroom to get a towel he could use as a lining for his boyfriends forehead.

He picked up one of the towels and let the water from tap flow onto it. When he was sattisfied with it he turned the water off and made his way back to the room his lover was laying in.

He gently placed the towel onto Ame's forehead before patting his head and running a hand through his red n white silky hair.
„I be right back i just get you some meds to take alright?"
„Okay- thanks"
„Come on now you don't need to thank for every little thing i do for you. You do and would do the same."
He gave Ame a soft smile and planted a kiss on the bridge of his nose.(♥️)

America gently smiled back as Russia got up again snuggling the blanket over him more before walking out the door again.

Russia had decided to make him a smoothie too after he take the meds because from what he can confirm they're disgusting but they still work.

He first got the meds and the measuring cup before pouring the needed ammount of the medicine into it.

After getting ready the meds and a glass of water he went to the bedroom to check if his boyfriend was asleep so he could close the door incase the blender was too loud.

To his surprise America was asleep already.
He quietly closed the door of the bedroom and headed back to the kitchen deciding to do a blueberry one since it was one of his lover's favorites.

He took a cup of blueberries out of the freezer and put them into the blender along with milk, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg blending it together.
When he thought it was enought he turned the blender off and poured it into a cup adding a straw and taking it back to the bedroom along with the meds and the glass of water.

„Ame wake up." Russia said placing the glass and cups onto the nightstand.

He slowly stroked his boyfriends cheek in attemp to wake him up and flipped the towel on his forehead over to the colder refreshing side.

„Hu- um?"
America exclaimed as he felt a hand on his cheek and the now cold towel on his forehead.

„Sorry for waking you up but i brought you the meds along with a glass of water and a blueberry smoothie because it's your favorite.

„Ah thank's wait- sorry."

„Awh c'mon now why saying sorry it's alright."
Russia chuckled.
„Here you go take this it's disgusting but it helps."

America took the measuring cup from Russias hands along with the water glass.

He quickly snapped it down his throat sending the water right after it.

„Ew" he said reaching out for the smoothie that was handed to him by Russia right away.

„Yum it's good." America said happily to which Russia smiled bc it was just cute.

He admired that America enjoyed simple little things it was honestly very cute to see him smile.

„Hey Ame i know that you still must send the documents to work but would you mind me doing it for you so you can sleep?"

„I mean it's fine but if you insist thank you"
He said as smile made it's way to his face again.
„All good i need to do some chart's to send to my boos so it's fine i do it along with it."

Russia adjusted the blanket over his precious boyfriend before heading to the computer on the other side of the room.

He oppened his own work folder completing everything including the chart's and sending it to his boss.
He did the same for Ame's work and then turned the computer off.

Turning around on the chair to spot his boyfriends diamond eyes on him.
„What's up? Why aren't you sleeping anything's wrong need somenting??"

„No no just waiting for you."
America said his eyes sparkling.
That convinced Russia as he made his way over to the bed his beloved laid in and covered both of them under the covers.
Snuggling to Russias chest America slowly let the dreamland take over him as he fell asleep under his boyfriends touch on his back.

„Sleep well my dear Я тебя люблю.
(I love you.)

Doing small circles on America's back with the thumb of his finger he slowly drifted off to sleep aswell.
