chapter four

•10:28AM•
The next day (May 18th)

"You what?" Larray looked at me stunned.

"You shared a joint?" Mia asked right after.

"Why is this so hard to believe?" I asked. To be fair, before last night I would probably not be asking this question.

"Is there something going on between you?" Larray joked.

"Please, we spent 20 minutes together, relax." I scoffed.

The door to Jack's bedroom door opened and out he stumbled.

"Bro why did no one wake me" he said rubbing his eyes. He was still in his hawaiian outfit. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Well Vic would have if she wasn't so busy getting high with Vinnie." Larray chuckled.

Jack's expression changed and I couldn't quite tell whether he was confused or upset.

"Oh. Well... was it good Vic?" he looked at me. He was tense.

"Uhm, yeah it was nice." I said.

He nodded, raising his eyebrows.

"I'll get changed. I need to head out" he said, walking back into his room and shutting the door.

I finished my coffee but I couldn't wipe his expression off my mind the entire morning.

•12:38PM•

After my morning run Alex, Kouvrr and I filmed a few Tiktok videos and I helped Alex plan his next Youtube video.

The videos were wracking up views and even more views.

"I'll go take a shower now - Kouvrr, would you like to bake with me afterwards?" I smiled at her.

Her face lit up as she eagerly nodded.

I ran up the stairs and got undressed in my room. I went into the bathroom, leaving on my shirt and underwear as I had decided to post a video onto my own account.

As much as I hated doing thrist traps, they sure gained a lot of views. I leaned against the door in front of the mirror and did my thing.

Once I was satisfied with the videos I posted them to my account and laid my phone on the counter as I went to shower.

10 minutes later

I stepped outside the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. I reached for my phone that was still blowing up with notifications.

1.5 million views in the span of 10 minutes.
That is a personal record.

What stuck out to me is that a single account had liked multiple videos one after the other.

He stalked my account while I was in the next room showering.

God it's so embarassing. He knows I just filmed a thirst trap.

Whatever. I look good, there's nothing to be embarassed about considering he does the same for a living.

I got dressed casually and quickly went downstairs to bake with Kouvrr.

3 days later (May 21st)

I hadn't seen Jack since yesterday so I decided to check up on him. I got out of the pool and dried myself off quickly, throwing on the shirt I left beside it earlier.

"Where you going?" Mia asked.

"I'll be right back." I smiled to her.

I went inside and slid the door closed behind me as I headed towards Jack's room.
