"This one looks good!" Mia said as she held the phone up to her face. "I'll post it."

Vic nodded eagerly - the two of them had just filmed a TikTok for the Hype House account and we're hereby finally done with their part for the month.

"Oh I totally forgot to ask, how was your date with Tristan yesterday?" Mia emphasized the word date.

Vic's cheeks flushed a bright red as she couldn't contain a joyful smile.

The day before Tristan had invited Vic out to lunch to a nice restaurant and she was still beaming with joy. They had had a lot of fun and she could barely keep her food down from all the laughing. People stared but that barely concerned her, the only thing she was focused on was the boy in front of her who made her feel like the only girl in the world at that moment.

"It actually went really great. He's so lovely. We've been texting ever since the party and I think I might like him... a lot." she grinned.

Vic pulled out her phone to show Mia the story Tristan had posted to his Instagram.

"Aww, he even added a heart. He likes you for sure." Mia exclaimed cheerfully.

"You think? It might still be a little too early to tell."

Just then she recieved a notification, and it was from Tristan. Her heart fluttered and she felt it beat faster.

Tristan
would you like to hang out today? we could go to the movies or have a picnic :)

Vic
omg a picnic sounds so good

Tristan
awesome, i'll pick you up at 7pm :D

Victoria squealed and so did Mia who equally as excited read the messages over her shoulder.

In the meantime Vinnie was laying on his bed in the dark. His blinds were shut, as they always were, and he had just finished a stream.

He exhaled as he watched her TikToks over and over again.

He thought that what he felt for her was just pure physical attraction, but the more he was around her, the more he realized there was so much more to this girl.

She checked all of the boxes for Vinnie.

He denied it, but he missed going out to have a smoke with her, teasing her and making her laugh. And even though things between them were fine, they got along, it just wasn't the same. There was just something missing.

As much as Vinnie didn't want to admit it, Vic wasn't just another hook up. And he'd had many.

Listening to Tristan talk about her and their date made him upset, he didn't let it show, but it bothered him to no ends.
