"Oh yep- that was definitely a shot." Larray said as his face scrunched up in disgust.

"Pussy." Nikita mumbled causing Larray to throw his paper cup at her.

"If something had been in that cup I would have turned you inside out." she said in response, combing through her hair with her fingers.

Music was booming through the entire house, Chase had acquired lasers and lights and seemingly everyone was in a good mood.

Drunken mood.

But I couldn't help but be bothered by the fact that Thomas hadn't come with us. He was invited yet he argued that he wasn't ready to see Chase.

They were avoiding each other at the house and have recently stopped talking in general.

When I asked Chase about it he claimed he didn't particularly care, but I could tell it was on his mind.

That explained why he was sitting in the far corner of the living room not interacting with anyone.

"Are you good?" I leaned on the armrest of his chair.

"Yeah, don't stress about it. We already talked. I don't care." he was avoiding eye contact

"Well it doesn't exactly seem like you don't care." I responded.

He sighed deeply "I was just hoping he would come... uh because I was gonna talk to him today. You know, about the house and the contract and the recent problem regarding Jack and stuff." his fingers fidgeted with the threads of his torn jeans.

"Or...you miss him. You know, hanging out with him in this kind of setting."

He thought for a few seconds.

"Maybe." he looked up at me.

"You guys really need to talk it out. I hate seeing both of you sulk over this. It would just be a shame to let business ruin your friendship." I patted him on the shoulder, he pouted.

I sat by his side for a few more minutes until I had a bright idea.

"Hey, you know what would cheer you up? A round of truth or dare."

General POV

Everyone sat in a semi-circle in the living room, at least as best as they could.

"Who proposed this idea again?" Mia groaned.

Vic tucked a strand of hair behind her ear looking away from Mia and trying to fight a grin.

"Okay party pooper, if you don't wanna play just leave." Larray rolled his eyes at Mia.

She raised an eyebrow "Actually I think I will." she said as she got up and made her way to the kitchen.

"Oh come on, seriously Larray?" Kouvrr sighed.

"What? Someone needs to put her in her place. She doesn't have to be so bitchy just because Thomas isn't here." he scoffed.

"Okay guys, that's enough, can we just play the game?" Vic exclaimed.

"Please, I need to be drunk." Nikita waved her hands around her face.

"Everyone take 2 shots before we begin. Let's actually have some fun." Tristan said.

"Yeeeess." Nikita snapped her fingers.

Tristan was one of Vinnie's best friends who came by the house very rarely. Vinnie once said he didn't approve of the concept of the Hype House which Vic could understand, it wasn't everyone's ideal environment. She had met him only hours before and he definitely caught her eye - he was attractive, blonde and blue-eyed - what could she say, she was a sucker for blondes. He managed to make her laugh with a couple of bad pickup lines which she surely didn't mind.
