BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Izzy groaned, the beeping filling his ears. Suddenly, the beeping stopped. Next, Izzy heard his bedsheets and blankets moving. He opened his eyes to find Axl getting out of bed and collecting his things. "Mmh, what time is it?" Izzy rubbed his eyes. "6." Axl whispered. "Why are you leaving?" Izzy attempted to catch Axl by the pocket on the back of his jeans, but missed.

"I gotta get home before my parents wake up." The ginger explained. Izzy stuck his arms out, slightly stretching at the same time. Axl took the hint and leaned down, hugging the brown haired boy. "I wish you never had to leave." Izzy mumbled into the crook of Axl's neck. "I know. I wish I didn't have to either. One day, though." Axl leaned back up, half smiling at Izzy. "Yeah, one day." Izzy wished Axl never let go. He didn't want to let Axl go either.

"Hey," Izzy started. Axl turned, "Yeah?"

"It's cold. Grab one of my sweaters from the closet." It was the summer, so Axl didn't know why Izzy wanted him to grab one, but he did anyway. He grabbed a sweater that had an Alice Cooper theme to it and put it on; it was the Love It To Death album. It smelled like him; cigarettes and crunchy Fall leaves.

"Bye, Ax."

"Yeah, bye." Axl closed the bedroom door behind him, leaving Izzy alone.

Izzy huffed, rolling onto his side so he was facing the wall; that's how he laid before Axl got up. He was too awake to fall back asleep, staring at the wall.

He missed Axl. He missed his laugh and his attitude. He missed those tiny moments where Axl was the sweetest thing on earth, after cussing Izzy out. He missed Axl's freckled skin. He missed Axl.

Izzy grabbed the pillow Axl was using before he left and pressed it against his chest, wrapping an arm around it. He inhaled Axl's scent; cigarettes, alcohol, and some cheap shampoo. Before too long, he found himself dozing off while thinking of the captivating boy.

Duff woke up to more of his parents yelling. He irritably groaned, slightly hitting the wall. He swore his parents would be the death of him.

Duff forced himself out of bed, stumbling into the living room. His brother was sitting on the couch, watching tv and attempting to block out his parents bickering.

"Do they ever stop?" Duff huffed, slumping onto the couch next to Bruce. "I don't think so." Bruce responded, shifting slightly to make more room for Duff. "Sometimes, I wish they would call it quits. I love them, but jeez." Duff said, Bruce agreed.

"You know what?! Fuck you! We're getting a divorce!" His mother screamed, rushing out of the room. Duff and Bruce didn't seem too fazed; they always said they were getting a divorce, but never did. "Do you want us to come to Aunt Jan's with you?" Duff asked his angry mother.

Their Aunt Jan lived a town over from them; their mother usually fled there with her two kids or by herself.

"I'm not going to Aunt Jan's." Their mother muttered, heading back to her room. Their dad quickly left out the door, looking pissed. "Dad, where are you going?" Bruce questioned his father to get no response.
