Is the Future Really Now!?

Let's Party!

Date: July 13th 

Time: 7:00 PM

I guess it's time I get ready for the party that Mallow is throwing for me. *I pull out an old tux that was locked away in a box.. It seemed to be something that I would wear to a school dance or something like that.* Wow, this thing is super old... I can't be wearing this to the party! It's way too small! *I pull out a casual outfit that looks like something I would wear in my daily life.* This will do, no need to be formal around my friends! They would enjoy whatever the hell I decided to wear to this party.. After all, it is my own! 

*I get a call from Mallow* Mallow's yet again cheerful sounding voice comes through the phone. "Hey! It's me again! So, we have an official time for the party! You should be here around 8:30. That sound good?" I reply with a simple yes. We then end the call with excitement for tonight's upcoming party. But I can't help but wonder... why is this party so important? Why are we throwing the party as soon as now? We don't even know if I will be fully accepted into the job yet!

Enough negative thinking, I gotta make sure all of my bags are packed and are ready to go for my move to Hoenn! I'm so excited to live there... I've always wanted to go back to Mossdeep City and see the wonders of it all again...

*I get in my car and head to Mallow's restaurant by the time I get there, it is about time for my party...*

Time: 8:30

Alright, it's time for me to head in... I don't want to be late to my own party! *I walk in and see a bunch of familiar faces! Kiawe, Lana, and Lillie. Mallow must be in the kitchen of course...* Everyone greets me with smiles on their faces. They seem... happier than usual to see me... I get gestured to take a seat. *Kiawe puts his arms around me, and starts to say something I think will stick with me for the rest of my life...

"We are proud of you Sophocles! We really are! And remember that if you ever get lonely in Hoenn or when you're scared in space, just remember, Togedemaru, and all of us! Are here for support!" Kiawe says this in the best tone possible, and honestly, it makes me tear up a little and make a smirk to end off the facial expression... I look like a total goof. Wow. A twenty-one-year-old grubby little ginger crying over his friends words and making a silly facial expression to top it all off. It is indeed a sight...

Kiawe then gives me a fistbump and that is when Mallow brings out a whole platter of premium steak... That at least had to have cost her 30,000 Pokedollars... Everyone at the table is shocked. We all make our toast and then eat the most scrumptious steak that will probably never caress our lips again.

 After enjoying the food that we were convinced was a gift from Tapu Koko himself, I wave goodbye to everyone and head home. I pack my bags and get out my flight ticket for Mossdeep City. Everything seems to be in order for when I leave for Hoenn tomorrow morning. Machamp Movers will be here soon, I have an apartment reserved, I'm all set...

All I have to do now? Is go to sleep.
