Date: July 21st.
Time: 4:30 PM
Well, today is the day of the fireworks display, and I couldn't be more excited to see it. Especially since Damien is the one going with me! I would never pass up an offer to go anywhere with that guy. He makes me feel safe and secure and loved. The feelings that I normally don't get in the dark or at night. But something about Damien, he makes it seem like it's so easy to calm me down when I'm in severe distress.
Enough about that. I have to start getting ready. Damien says we are going to be leaving in a couple of hours considering the fireworks display is at 7:00, and of course I want to look my best for him. So this morning I went to the store and bought myself a comfortable tuxedo that I can wear to the display. Not exactly the most appropriate attire for a fireworks display, but it's okay because it's all for Damien at the end of the day.
A couple of hours later, I'm all done getting ready for our "date" at the fireworks display, and I am as excited as ever for the surprise Damien has in store for me. Damien and I get into my car and we drive to the place where the fireworks display is going to be shown. As soon as we get there, we pick a perfect spot to watch them at. Right next to the railing. We hold on to the railing and look up at the sky. The time is 7:00 PM. The fireworks shall shoot off in any given second by now! How exciting! And of course, I was right. The fireworks shoot off into the sky making beautiful colors and patterns.
Some I realize are even in the patterns of Pokemon that only live in the hoenn region! I find that very creative. About fifteen minutes into the display, Damien whispers to me, "I love you." and kisses me. That was his surprise towards me... I was right. I can't say it didn't feel good because well, it did! And I sure as hell loved him too. I told him that I loved him back, and we stood there silently holding hands, and watching the fireworks display.
It was the happiest ending to my story that I could've ever wished for. And I wish to have many more lovely experience with my significant other in the future. Signed, Sophocles.
