Odessa

_______April 10th, 1806

Odessas family's carriage skidded to a halt as they arrived into town.
Her face flushing ever-so slightly as the spring breeze passed.

A grin made its way onto her face as she fully exited the carriage, cinna following closely behind.

"Be back in an hour—no later!" Charlie yelled to the running girls.
"Whatever Charlie, don't wait up!" Odessa called back.

"I want a sweet" cinna complained pulling on the arm of her sister as a shop came into view.
"Well, come on then" pulling her sisters arm lightly they entered the brightly colored building.

Strutting up to the Nicely colored counter, cinna stared longingly at all the pastries sat on little trays.

"Pick one, whatever your little heart desires" Cinna stared lovingly up at her sister with a bright smile.

"Anything? Anyone I want?" Her voice whispered.
"Anyone you want" Odessa started.
"Charlie never lets me chose!"
"Well Charlie is not me" she finished.
"Best day ever!" Her giggles illuminated the shop.

"Raspberry tart, that one there with the pretty frosting" her little feet practically jumped for joy when the man behind the counter handed it to her.

It was just then Odessa heard the bell ring behind her, it wasn't enough to catch her attention though.

"And how much is that?" Odessa reached into her clutch slowly.
"80 cents" the elderly man's cheerful voice rang.

Odessa nodded turning back to her clutch before a hand raised to stop her.
"Don't worry I've got it" Theodore's voice sounded.

"Theodore? There is no need I've got it" Odessa said but it was too late he had already handed the man the money.

"Consider it a gift" Theodore said smiling down to the raven haired girl.
"Thank you, Mr theodore" cinna thanked sticking the pink pastry into her mouth.

"Your very welcome cinna" he replied with a laugh.
"Quite the charmer you are theodore" she whispered with a smirk.
"Only to those I find enjoyable" he whispered back.

"I'm glad you find me enjoyable, seeing as I can't stand you" Odessa hid her smile, grabbing Cinnas empty hand and softly pulling her out of the shop.

"Why's that?" Theodore called after her.
"you seem to be following me Theo, is there a reason why?" Odessa's face flushed.

"You have not answered my question" Theodore smiled at Odessas tinted cheeks.
"I don't believe I need to" she said turning and flicking his nose.

"Now answer my question theodore, why is it your following me?" She asked, her eyes meeting his.

"I don't believe I need to" He replied back sassily.

"Your a real wise boy aren't you, your majesty?" She laughed with a fake bow.
"I tend to be, your highness" Theodore remarked.

"Were exactly are we going theodroe, cinnas getting tired" Odessa said, cinna laying sleepily on her hip.

"Not much further" he called back.

Theodore had led the two girl to the most beautiful park Odessa had ever seen.
A white fountain laying in the middle, surrounded by perfectly carved bushes, wines full of lovely flowers and hanging fruit.

"This is—beautiful" Odessa's eyes widened with delightful as she took in her surroundings.
"I thought you'd say that" Theodore said, looking down at the girl.

The three treaded to the fountain before sitting just on the edge of it.

Cinna herself ended up running to play after just a few moments of silence.

"So Ollie what exactly are you doing in London, your obviously not from here" Theodore said, turning his body towards Odessa.

"Oh we're already on the nickname phase?" Odessa teased.
"Oh! I heard cinna call you it the other day, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to offend you—" the prince's eyes widened, Odessa laughing full heartedly at his expression.

"It's quite alright—just means I need to give you a nickname. Let's see, how about teddy?" Odessa questioned meeting the boys stare.

"Teddy, I like that" He whispered.
"I'm glad" She whispered back.

Theodore had walked the two girl back to there carriage. Charlie, leaning on the side of the carriage waited for his two sisters.

"There you two are, come on we need to head back for esme" Charlie called, picking up cinna and placing her into the cart before following her in.

"Thank you for today, it was—amazing" Odessa told the boy watching the corner of his lip twitch upward.

"We should do it again someday, whenever you please of course" Theodore smiled.

"Hurry up Ollie!" The two heard the boys voice call from the tainted blue carriage.
"That's my cue, thanks again Teddy" Odessa said placing a small kiss on the boys cheek. It would have caused quite the stir of drama if anyone had seen her scandalous deed.

"My pleasure, Ollie" Theodore took her hand before placing a chaste kiss on it.
Odessa smiled, turning away slowly and entering the carriage.

"And they say romance is dead" Charlie teased.
