Odessa.
_______May 4th, 1806
Barely a month had gone by since the five Abel children arrived in England, and they couldn't be happier.
Owen had been sneaking off from teas to join a mystery person, whom of which he refused to identify.
Charlie was just happy to be away from home, eating all the pastry's his heart desired.Imogen had grew more accustomed to England, she was truly starting to find her self. cinna had been her usual bubbly self, spreading love as if it were wings.
And Odessa—well Odessa was rethinking everything. For some odd reason Odessa could—and frankly wouldn't—stop thinking about the prince. There was just something about him that allured her.
She tried to tell herself it was just because of the attention he had showed her, but she knew that was all but a lie she tried to string along.
She couldn't believe that she was giving up all her morals for a silly boy who most definitely did not see her in more than an acquaintance like way.
Pushing away the ghastly thoughts Odessa dreaded ever so much, she walked along the dark corridors of her aunt's estate.
She noticed a creek in a small door hidden just at the end of the hall.
She crept as quietly as she could, seeing as it was midday and anyone could catch her.Odessa looked behind her quickly making sure no one had seen her, before sneaking into the room.
At her arrival she noticed only two things about the room.
Number one being a large fireplace, number two being a glass case sat right at the front of it.She tiptoed slightly, picking up her pace after noticing a strong gleam shine from the boxes side.
She smirked to herself slowly lifting up the tattered box lid.
Five noted laid under what looked to be a bejeweled crown. Her tainted fingers picked the objects up slowly, careful not to drop them.
Her fingers traced along the black jewels before she set it back in its case.
Her eyes treaded over the black ink that wrangled across the letters.
All five letters had been addressed to esme.
The five letters also being sent from a Lorenzo.Odessa perked a brow going to examine further
But at the sound of footsteps she quickly shut the box, putting all the letters but one back before hiding in the shadows of the left side of the room.Esme sighed contently as she opened the glass box. Her wrinkled fingers traced each word over and over again.
It had felt like hours to Odesa before esme had left the room.
Odessa waited a while longer before slipping the letter in her boot, and quickly headed to her room.

To my dearest Esme Lauren,
Odessa read.
I will be king long before you ever read this but I wanted you to get your closure.
I know you believe I was just using you for mindless fun whilst I found a real queen to rule by me, but that is the furthest from the truth.
I wanted you, I wanted you to rule by me, to stand by me, to tell me when to shut my mouth, to hold me when I wallowed in self pity, to care. I wanted you esme.
It wasn't my choice. My choice would have been you, not her. Delphine is quite the catch, but she's not my catch. You are.
You, my darling esme, you are all I want, you are all I need. But I can not have you, not now, not ever. Thats the worst part of falling In love with a tailor.
Maybe I shouldn't have stayed with you for as long as I had, maybe then it would hurt us both less, but I need you to know, that you esme, you are my past, present and future.
I will think of you when I fall asleep, when I wake, when I cry, when I stare at the stars, I will think only of meeting you again. Even if it is just for a moment. I will wish, but wishing never really works, does it esi?
In another life maybe.
Sincerely, your Lorenzo nott.
Odessa's eyes widened slightly, had esme had a secret love affair, while she was courting Odessa's uncle?
Odessa's might ran wild with thought.
I mean if a man wrote to me like this I'd sneak around to—.Her thoughts were cut short when Esme walked in carrying two puffy gowns on her arms.
"Odessa I was thinking for the ball tonight we could change up your style" Esme exclaimed smiling lovingly at her niece.
