I have thought about writing a chapter with adult Kundavai confronting Nandini or Aditha Karikalan (like the movie) and scolding them or spending sleepless nights worrying about their relationship.
Then I realised that Kundavai doesn't have any idea about how deep Aditha Karikalan's and Nandini's feelings ran. She really doesn't understand how her actions affected Nandini, psychologically and socially. She acknowledges that she was a jealous bully, but that's it.
Nandini tells everyone that Pazhayarai Kundavai is her enemy and she is doing all this to teach her a lesson but Kundavai doesn't understand why should someone like Nandini feel murderous rage against them, especially after Kundavai conveyed (via Vanthiyathevan) her willingness to accept Nandini as Sundara Cholan's daughter. That only infuriates Nandini more as it reminds her of Kundavai's attempts to seperate her from AK.
After all this, homegirl has the gall to tell Vanthiyathevan that it was he whom Nandini loved, something even Vanthiyathevan dismisses as nonsense.
Edit: Then she bullies Nandini again, for marrying an old man. This time, Nandini might have given as good as she got. But imagine living in fear if your husband is going to rape you and others taunting you for seducing him. Nandini won't even travel in the same boat as him fearing his "love games".
