Mark and Polly are still shocked to find their mother's journal in Dad's office as he shuts the secret drawer. He holds the journal underneath his arm, and Polly follows him back upstairs, where they see the light shining underneath from Jack's room. They went to his room, and Jack rolled in his chair to see them holding something, " What's that?" He asked " It's Mom's journal. " Polly answered as Jack's eyes widened " Shit. Really?" Mark nodded and closed the door behind him. " Sh-should we open it?" He asked as Mark set it on his desk and shrugged his shoulder off, feeling unsure about this. " I don't know, we can–we could learn things about Mom and Dad and other people." Mark inflated as Jack rolled towards him. " We can take this slow. " He tells him as he looks at him.
" But I want to read it. "
" Okay, what about you? Pollie"
" I do."
" I will open it and read it out loud. " Jack tells us as he grasps the journal and opens it to the first page.
August 1st.
The big move happened and went slowly while Mom was completing about the movers being such a pain in the ass. It's challenging to move to a town from a city fe–especially when your parents have divorced over something. Mom always tells me not to trust a man who only wants one thing from me, and she was pissed at Dad when she found out he was cheating with her BEST FRIEND! WTF!
How low can you be? It was awful for her, and I'm glad she took me. He told me what town we were going to too. She grew up there with her friends, and she hardly mentioned her friends anymore since something happened to Amelia. All I know is Amelia and her were best friends and told each other everything until one day–everything changed. She did mention this name with a bitter tone when I found her yearbook in an old box in an attic. His name was Lucus, and she hated him with a passion and wanted to kill him if she ever saw him in person again. I honestly thought they'd dated in the past. I could be wrong if she tried to talk about it. But she won't.
Jack finished and looked at them, " That was it." He said as Mark and Polly stared at him. " She mentions two names, which sound familiar to me." Mark rubbing his chin and thinking to himself while Jack shuts the journal. " Have they mentioned their names before?" He questioned as Mark slightly nodded " I think so." He said. They agreed that Jack would keep the journal for now, and they went to bed for the night.

~ The Next Day~
Molly woke up with a stir as she groaned with her alarm when she hit it; then Molly got up to see a letter on her door; Molly was confused about how she didn't wake up by someone entering her room. She got up and took the note off of her door.
Meeting in Mark's room at 9:00 am- Jack
Molly goes to Mark's room while wearing her hoodie and shorts. Jack pulls her inside before anyone else can see. She stumbled inside the room and looked at them while standing upright. " What's gonna on?" She questioned as Jack stared at her. " Seat down. " She grew more confused by it and then sat on the bed. " Seriously, you guys are scaring me right now. So tell me what's going on." Mark took a deep breath and took the Journal out of his back. " Polly and I found Mom's journal in Dad's office last night." She stared at it with widened eyes. " What? Are you kidding, right? Why would Dad keep this from us?" She stood up and looked at them with questionable. " We don't know, so we must figure that out," Mark said as she nodded while Polly looked between them. " Did you guys read a page of it?" Jack nodded his head yes. " Oh, okay. Are we going to take turns reading it or something?" Jack shrugged his shoulders and feeling unsure of what they should do next. " To be honest, we think it would be the best for you and Polly to have it. Instead, me and Jack." Mark told her.
