When Buddy told me, " Family doesn't end with blood,'' I didn't know what it meant back then or even now. But when he passed away in that hospital, I felt sadness while my brothers were only standing beside me and trying to make the doctors do something. I shallowed the sorrow and other emotions that day. I just couldn't let them see me so weak, and I decided to protect them from anything or anyone that could hurt them. When Mom died and left us in that fire, Dad changed into someone I didn't know anymore, and yet I stuck around to be a mother to Sam and Dean as long as I could until Dad kicked me out one night.
Dean tried to convince him to make me, and I told him to stop, " If he wants me to leave, then I will. " I glared at Dad, grabbed my things, and started walking down the road in the darkness of the night. Dean kept in touch with me as long he could, but I knew it wouldn't last very long, so I ghosted him. I moved into this town that I started over without him in my fucking life.
I met Perrie and other friends at this school until one night, Louis accidentally saw me and transformed me into a wolf, and I attacked him. I growled darkly and had him pinned underneath me as he looked up at me with widened eyed, " Jess, let me go!" He shrieked as I showed him my teeth and backed off him while walking away. " Jess.." He said quietly. I continue to walk away.
Soon I started to run with the wind as I felt the wind go through my fur and heard voices in the distance. I followed the voices that led me to tackle one of them to the ground when I saw another with guns aiming at me, " Shoot it! "The old man yelled; the younger one looked scared. The older man growled and reloaded his gun as I growled at him. " I said shoot it before it kills your brother! Sammy!" I felt my ears peeked up at the name as I looked down to see that I was pinning Dean. I got off him as he looked at me with the puzzle, " Dad, Don't!" Dean stumbled up and knocked the shotgun out of his hands before he could shoot me.
" What the hell, Dean?!"
" That's not the normal werewolf!" He shouted as Dad stared at him and then looked at me with narrowed eyes. He let out a small gasp when he realized it was me. '' Bug? You're alive.." He muttered under his breath as I transformed into my human form. " Of course, I am alive. " I look daggers at him " And no thanks to you." Dad took a single step toward me, yet I took one back from him. " You don't get to hug me after what happened all of those years. Don't act like you didn't do anything wrong." Dad frowned as I furrowed my eyebrows at him. " After all, you did give up on me when I needed you the most." Dean and Sam watched them from the small hilltop.
" Look, I know I wasn't there for you-" he started as I scoffed. " You fucking kicked me when I was ten years old! Who the fuck does that to the kid!?" I shouted as I glared at him and stepped close to him. "I've lived alone and fought my battles without you!" Dad stared at me " You were dangerous.." He mumbled as I rolled my eyes, " It doesn't make it right for you to do that, and I can tell you that hasn't changed one bit." She noted. " You hurt me and showed that I didn't deserve your love.." I trailed off.
" Bug, I can't change the past, but I want you to be part of the family.."
" Being part of this family again?"
" Yes, sis, please."
I glanced at Sam, who spoke up as I sighed, then shook my head, " I'll never be part of this family again, especially those who kicked out the daughters because they're dangerous. " I looked at them in the eyes and took a breath before a speak again. " Take care of each other; if you need me, then you know how to reach me," Dean arched one eyebrow " How?" I cracked a small smile at him. " You will know." I ruffled his hair as he groaned, then I shot Dad a hatred glare, who looked away.
