❄️2.The Rainy Day (Prologue)❄️

It was around 3:00 am, the wind was speeding up at a gradual pace, the white curtains were swaying away and the moon was shining bright with millions of stars twinkling their way into the small yet cozy room.

"Stop running Y/n, you might slip. It's raining heavily." He said. "No I know the rain better, it embraces me," you said running off to the garden.

You were flipping your hands in the rain and smiling wide with your eyes closed. "God why do you like rain so much?" he asked. "It washes away my burdens." You answered.

"A chilled can of beer does the same, without gifting you cold and cough," he commented. " My Burdens are different Mr. Purple Mic. Mine are a little intense you see" you gigged. He could make out that the giggle was not out of joy but out of sorrow.

"Okay then, I will be your personal Burden lifter then. Shove them on my back and you can walk freely," he said and you turned back looking deep into his eyes.

His eyes were always so lucrative, always drawing you in. He had a faint smile on his lips and was looking at you with dreamy eyes.

"What if you drop them in the middle," You asked with a cute smirk and he laughs, damn how can laughter be music to you? You were for sure whipped for this Boy. "I am a well-prepared man sweetheart" he strolled towards you and dropped his umbrella " I will drop your burdens and carry you in my arms for a long time,"

He said. The sentence gave a sense of warmth to your heart, hard to express, can't help! You were feeling it for the first time. You smiled wide with teary eyes that the rain camouflaged gracefully.

One of the biggest reasons why you liked rain showers, they hid your pain. "Get your umbrella, you will catch a cold" you retorted smiling. "Cold sounds good, I will be getting it cause of you, so in return, you can take care of me" He smirked commenting.

"You just can't stop flirting. can you ?" You said running into the rain. "Can't help it carrot!! " he yelled running behind you. You both were playing in the rain like two toddlers.

You were running, dancing, and enjoying your time, both heartbeats were in sync. You got tired of running and lay down on the lush grass bed. He came and lay right by your side. You had your eyes closed and he had his eyes on you. "I like the rain," you said smiling, your eyes closed. "I like you, " he said.

You opened your eyes shocked and turned to look at him, expecting a smirk or a goofy grin but you saw a set of sincere eyes looking at you.

Your heart was racing and then you feel his palm touching yours and fingers intertwining with yours. You were surprised. Your crush comes and tells you he likes you, how come the stars are with you suddenly? He smiles and inches closer and then you feel it, you feel his soft petal lips.

He pecked you and gave you his Exclusive bunny smile and you smiled back he came closer looking straight into your eyes, "I like You Y/n" he said those precious words and kissed you.

Life for the first time seemed colorful. The moment was pure bliss and you kissed him back with a tear escaping your eyes.

A Thunderbolt struck the heavy windy air, snatching your luxury, the only luxury that you could afford, the luxury of having a happy life in your dreams. A better word can be Delusional. You woke up suddenly, with a bullet-speed heartbeat.

Sweat adorned your forehead like water droplets on green leaves in Autumn. You looked around and saw the window open, you sigh and strolled towards the window. You looked out towards the moon, but all you saw were the black & grey heavy clouds...It was Raining.

Your heart twitched and you finally escaped the temporary bliss and faced your reality which was pouring upon you. The reality was dark and dull just like the night sky in front of you.

You are most of the time somewhat okay, or you pretend to be okay because you barely have time for yourself amongst the daily chores you go through.
Life was never easy for you anyways.

Maybe you had a good relaxing break in between but you were back in the game. The "shithole life makes me go crazy" game, which only is exclusively blessed (not being sarcastic at all) upon few like you, so you were used to such a lifestyle.

That being said, you have to wake up early tomorrow, the guest house is expecting a bunch of guests tomorrow, so that gives you a tiny bit of relief. Putting all this chaos aside you snuggle into your blanket and try to sleep and try even harder not to dream, the dreams which are nightmares for your already wrecked heart.

Hours passed and you were drifting into slumber, but only the wet pillow could tell the struggle you had most of the days went through to get that ounce of sleep.
