Percy pov

I don't know how long I have been holding the sky all I know is that I've blacked out a couple times which is probably bad but hey still holding the sky. I am going to get scoliosis (condition that makes your back bone the wrong shape) from this.

I also didn't really pay much attention to my surroundings since what's there to see and it helps me focus on not dying. But Atlas's voice brought me to no clue how I know who Atlas is or anything about him but I do. "Hello Jackson having fun, you may get replaced today." He smirked at me "but if you don't well... two birds with one stone"

Snarky poop pile that's my job to be annoying and sarcastic. No clue what he's talking about though at least I didn't until Lady Artemis was dragged in with chains around her arms. Oh no.

Artemis looks at me surprised when she enters before turning her head to glare at Atlas. "What do you want from me?" Artemis spats at him in anger bringing a chuckle out of Atlas.

"I brought you here to make a choice." Atlas says still chuckling and he isn't in my view range so sadly no rocks get kicked into the place where Apollo doesn't shine on him wait I'm not paying attention anymore CURSE YOU ADHD. I tune back in to hear Atlas continue"You can either take hold of the sky or I'll leave you trapped here until he can't hold it anymore killing both you and him."

Artemis hesitates thinking over her options which I understand she doesn't know me and she's a goddess she might be able to get out of here if she were lucky. I see her glance over at me about to take a step towards me.

That is until Atlas speaks again almost savoring this "Before you decide allow me to sweeten the deal. He is how shall I put this ... an old friend of yours." now I'm confused I have not met Artemis before just saw her before being taken.

"What are you talking about?" Lady Artemis asks clenching her teeth glaring at Atlas as if him suggesting that is the worst thing he could ever say.

"Well why don't I just show you." I hear Atlas suggest before there's a flash of red light. Pain courses through my body and my vision goes black.

Artemis pov

The gall of Atlas to even suggest that this boy is the Perseus of my time. I mean sure there is some physical resemblance but that means nothing. But then Atlas channeled some of his energy and shot a continued blast of power into the boy.

The power seemed to morph around him as his aura came out to fight it off. His aura was a blue with black and the ends of it. I've only ever seen a handful of beings with that specific aura before and to confirm my theory. His body started reacting to the beam of power from Atlas with neon purple lightning started to spark off of him and hit the floor. It started to congregate around the place of impact from the beam before It shot up circling around the beam as to not be stopped and latched onto Atlas's arm coiling around like one of those little lightning balls that Mortals make in which my hunter Evelyn a daughter of Hecate is obsessed with she has 8... that I know of.

Wait back to focusing if only us gods didn't have ADHD as well. Atlas tried to pull his arm away from the lightning but it only dissipated when Atlas stopped his power beam HAH serves him right. He seemed to be cradling his arm and it looked to have some nasty burns. I think he forgot about me for a second because he openly muttered "Chaos be dammed he's gaining power every day."

I cleared my throat to get his attention and for you idiotic boys asking why I didn't escape well I currently have my arms bound together with celestial bronze so I am powerless and weaponless. "That can not be him he died and never came back which means he faded." I try to deny not wanting him to be used as blackmail or specifically targeted.
