Percy flashes to where Artemis is. she is turning the other way so Percy moves behind her before tackling her to the ground to pull her up to a sitting position and hugs her. Artemis struggles at first before realizing that it is Percy.
"I missed you a lot Percy." Artemis say snuggling closer to him.
"I know. I am sorry it took so long." Percy apologizes.
"don't worry its not your fault." Artemis tells him as he starts playing with her hair.
"I wish we could be here forever and just have peace." Percy says still twirling her hair.
"Percy we need to have you meet my hunters they're like my family and I don't like keeping secrets from them" Artemis says with a hint of nervousness
"sure I would love to meet the people you practically raised." Percy replies.
Artemis flashes herself and Perseus right outside the hunter's camp. They walk in together and the moment they get into the clearing all bows are pointed at Percy except Zoe's, Thalia's, and Bianca's. "milady get away from the boy" the second in command Phoebe says.
"Phoebe its fine" Zoe says Phoebe looks at Zoe like she grew 5 heads
"what do you mean it's fine milady is next to boy" Phoebe says angrily
"everyone put your bows down" Artemis says, and the hunters do so grudgingly.
"Ok everyone I have an announcement Percy here is my boyfriend" Artemis says a blush working its way up her face this is immediately followed by shouts of protest
"what about your oath, what about the hunt." Phoebe yells
"Quiet, let her explain before you make assumptions!" Percy shouts over them and Artemis looks at him gratefully. they all quiet down and look at Artemis expectingly.
"well Percy was my boyfriend before the hunt was created, he is also the reason the hunt was created in the first place." Artemis says
And then all the bows are pointed at Percy again "so that means he hurt you" Phoebe says
"NO" Artemis shouts "he didn't hurt me he got killed and whenever he reformed, he would get killed again. He never hurt me."
"oh" the hunters say looking down.
"Wait what about the time where I threw sand at Apollo but he ducked and it hit you in the eye instead?" Percy questions
"that doesn't count." Artemis says exasperated.
"Now he won't be here to long since he has to pretend to be his reincarnated form and I want you all to be respectful to him and NOT kill him because while he has the power of a god, he is still technically mortal" Artemis tells the hunters while emphasizing the not. Percy mingled with all the hunters, and they grew to like him and see him as a brother to all but one Phoebe.
